Jacob was at Billy's, so I was at home by myself. And a half. I patted my stomache as I closed the door behind me. I drove to Carlisle and Esme's house for some company.
I pulled in the drive and got out smelling the air around me. Everyone's sent was faded out towards the woods. All except for Carlisle's. Good. He was the person I needed to talk to.
I opened the door and listened for movement. "I'm in my study." Carlisle's voice carried softly down the stairs. I set my bag down in the chair that was next to the stairs. I I thought about running and then I thought about the thanks Sarah would give me.
I walked down the hall a short way and knocked on the door.
"Come on in." He set down his giant book. I knew that book by the smell the pages made when they shifted. I had read that book cover to cover when I was younger and now knew every inch of the human-and in some cases vampire-body.
"Got a second?" I asked.
"Of course I always have time for you." Carlisle had always treated me different than he treats everyone else. He always had time for me. Even when it was a busy day at the hospital, he always made time for me. "Sit down." He smiled.
"Going over your book--again?" I laughed.
"Yes, I suppose I am." He chuckled.
"I was wanting to talk to you about the baby." I told him, leaning over my now slightly bulging stomache.
"Ask away." He talked differently to me also.
I thought about how excatly to ask my question. I played it out in my mind a couple of times to make sure I wouldn't leave anything out. "Okay." I finally said. "I have human and vampire genes, and Jacob has human and a little wolf."
"Right." Carlisle nodded.
"Well, what would that make the baby?" I spoke slowly and carefully, making sure he got the question I was asking.
"Well." He sighed and folded his hands on his desk. "Your human gene is more dominate. And so is Jacob's. The baby will be human."
"Human as in just human?"
"Yes. No vampire nor werewolf. Human."
I sighed in relief. The last thing I wanted for my child was a more complicated life than she will be born into. "Thank you." i smiled.
"My pleasure. So have you thought of any names?" He asked rising from his chair.
I stood up also and followed him down stairs.
"Yes, astually. Sarah. After Jacob's mom, and the middle name Marie after Bella's middle name."
He gave me a glass of water and I chugged it down, suprised at how thirsty I was. "Thanks."
"Your welcome. And I think the name is a wonderful idea."
I looked at me phone and relized I had been there longer than I thought. "I have to get home. Jake should be back." I walked back over to the chair to get my things. "Thank you again."
"No problem sweetie." He kissed my head.
"Bye Grandpa." I hadn't called him that since was very little. I was glad i did though. I wanted to show him I was always going to be "little Renesmee".

Jake's POV


I pulled into the drive way beside Renesmee's car.
I couldn't wait to tell her about Dad's face when i told him what we were going to name our baby.
Our baby. Sarah Marie Black. Mine and Renesmee's baby.
I walked in the house and set my keys down on the table. Something I did everyday. "Renesmee?!" I yelled out.
She came in the room smiling. "Hi." She put her hands on her hips and I could seen how much her stomache had grown. "I went and saw Carlisle today."
"And?" I asked.
"She's going to be human. Just plain old human." She smiled.
"That's great!" I smiled. "Dad loves that we are naming her Sarah. You should have seen his face."
"I wish I could have." She kissed me. "Only five more months."
"Can't wait." I kissed her again. "Oh, we need to do her room."
"Wanna do it this weekend?" She asked sitting down on the couch.
"Sounds good." I sat beside her and took her hand. "I love you."
"I love you too, Jake." She spoke quietly.

3 days later.

"Okay. So, pale yellow or bright yello?" I asked rummiging through the paint chips at the local hardware store.
"I dunno." Renesmee walked over to me carrying Sarah's bed spread. She held it up to the four cips I had picked up, examining it in the light. "Um, pale." She finally desided.
I walked over ot the counter and waited as the clerk mixed the paint. I stared at Renesmee as she flipped through the pages of a magazine. I remembered the first time I had told her I loved her.
*flashback*

She was running right beside me, weaving in and out of trees. She was in cut of shorts and a t-shirt. She had Bella's scence of style. She turned to me and grined. It was to late to ask her what she was smiling at. I turned my head foward and rammed in a bolder.
She stopped and walked over to me. She bent over and put her hands on her knees to hold herself up.
"You know," She smiled "if you would pay more attention, this wouldn't happen." She giggled and held out her hand.
I smiled and grabbed hold. "You know," I recited her "if you weren't so beautiful I would pay more attention, and things like this wouldn't happen." He pulled me and blushed beneath her ivory skin.
She started walking a short ways and then stopped. I followed behind her and stopped too when I saw what she was looking at. The stream was sparkling blue. I looked up and the sun was making its way out of the clouds. She took two more steps and slowly put her hand through the sun beams.
Her skin sparkled ever so slightly. Not like the other Cullen's, her's was more subtle. Like Tinkerbell had dusted "fairy dust" onto her arm.
I walked up behind. She looked up at me and the corners of her mouth rose slightly. I caressed her elbow in my hand and slid my hand down to hers. She flipped her hand over and I traced the pattern on her palm.
"Beautiful." I whispered in her ear.
"Nothing compared to you." She whispered back.
"Even more." I told her and turned her around to face me. I placed one curved finger under her chin and lifted her face to mine. "I love you, Renesmee." I told her and bent down to kiss her.
That was the first time I had kissed her. And it was the one that stuck out the most. Not because it was out first, or that she was more beautiful because she was always beautiful. But it was the kiss that started the completion of my life.

"Jake." She was holding up a picture in a magazine.
"Hu." I shook my head.
She smiled. "I want this crib." She pointed to the picture.
I was a white crib with the looks of a sleigh bed. Like the one in our bedroom. I read down below the picture. 'Turns into a toddler bed.'
"And it will have us money when she grows out of the crib.
I nodded in agreement. "Okay. Whatever you want." I smiled.
She kissed me quickly on the lips and smiled. She walked back over to the rack to pick up another. This kiss wasn't like the one that stood out the most. I then relized that when the baby came, there would be no more "us" time. Unless of course we handed baby Sarah over ot the Cullen's every now and then. I'm sure Alice wouldn't mind.
The clerk finally handed me the paint can.

Renesmee POV

"Are you ready?" Jacob knocked on the door. "Yea." I opened the door. "Can you zip me?" I asked and turned around.
His fingers traced downward on my spine, leaving a trail of goosebumbs on my skin. He kissed the back of my neck and I turned to kiss him.
"Are you ready now?" He asked when we pulled away.
I nodded and smiled slightly. "Where are we going?" I asked.
"You will find out when we get there." He grined and pulled me out the door.
"You forgot your keys." I told him.
"No I didn't." He replied.
"Yes-" I started to argue.
"Take your shoes off." He told me as he drug me toward the edge of the woods.
"What?" I asked confused.
"We're running." He smiled and took off his tux jacket and shoes.
"Running?!" Why were we running when we had two perfectly good vehicles sitting in the drive way.
"Yep." He bent down and took off my shoes for me.
He grabbed my hand and chuckled at my expression. "Come on." He started running through the trees dragging me with him.
I let go of his hand and ran beside him, weaving in and out of trees.
I followed him untill he stopped at a small sparkling blue stream. The sun beamed down through the leaves.
I slowly put my hand in the way of the light, watching the sparkles dance on my skin.
Jacob walked up behind me and held my elbow. Something seemed like I had been through this before. He ran his hand up my arm and I flipped my hand over. He traced the lines on my hand and whispered "Beautiful."
I knew what he was doing now. One year ago from today, was when he first told me he loved me. I smiled and replied. "Nothing compaired to you." I whispered back.
"Even more." He turned me around and placed one finger under my chin and lifted my face to his. "I love you, Renesmee." He smiled and kissed me. Just like he had the first time.
