New Moon movie rumors

I know it's a little early to be thinking about the second movie but I saw some rumors on some blog site thing- just google New Moon movie, you'll find truck loads- and I couldn't resist posting them.
One of the rumors was -"They’re talking about changing Jacob Black’s character, because he can’t grow 7 inches in one year. So they might be looking for alternatives to play Jacob’s werewolf side."
What?! :O
How can they change Taylor...Taylor is just, well, Jacob. Can't they put him on stilts or something, or maybe make everyone look smaller like they do in Harry Potter with Hagrid?? Poor Taylor :( I know it's only a rumor, but still...

Next, "They’ve already cast Shauna Powell for the part of Jane, and they start filming “New Moon” in January."
I thought they started filming in March or something like that, I don't know- please comment below. And I can't find a picture for Shauna Powell. Erm, anyone any idea who she is??

Next, "Also heard that Jodelle Ferland was in the running for Jane."

Very, erm, is evil the right word?? I'd say more spooky. I'm not sure what she's been in, but I think she's fourteen or something- I don't know I imagined Jane a little older- but what ever.

Then a rumor about Leah: "And that this gal was auditioning for the part of Leah."
And 'this gal' is:

Erm, yeah, I have no idea who she is, cos it doesn't say, but don't you think she looks very Leah-ish, maybe if we cut out the smile, then I can see her sat there with Seth and Jacob glaring at Emily- it could work.

And finally, "They’re looking at Ian McKellen for the part of Aro."

I think the second picture is very Aro-esque- lol scowling. Erm I've only ever seen him in Lord of the Rings, but I think he qualifies, what with the whole 'you shall not pass' thing and everything. I don't know.

What do you guys think? and does anybody know the name of that Leah girl?? Plus I was thinking about the whole werewolf thing, and wouldn't it be easier if the didn't make them grow taller at all- yeah a stupid idea, but I love Taylor, and this is kinda a movie where we're gonna see loads of him. and did anyone else notice that in Twilight movie Sam was kinda small, isn't he a werewolf at that point?? So er yeh, comment please :)
