Personal Life;
Ashley grew up in Middleburg and Jacksonville, and went to University Christian School, before transferring to Wolfson High School when she was in tenth grade. She moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of 17 to pursue an acting career. Ashley has one sibling, an older brother named Joe, who still resides in Jacksonville with her parents.

Ashley is good friends with her Twilight co-stars, particularly Kellan Lutz, whom she knew before filming the movie.

I squirmed and thrashed my body around under the water, trying to get out from under his firm grasp. But the more i struggled, the further he pushed me down to the floor of the lake, and the more fatigued i became. I gasped for air, unable to keep holding my breath. I sucked in and inhaled mouth full's of water, drowning. Feeling my eye's roll to the back of my head. Coughing and dying..Then i felt his hand's run up my shirt and rip it off.

I sat in the damp, buggy grass by the peacefull lake, peeling off my skin to reveal the marvelous Silver fur and pink webbed skin that was now mine.

I slithered out of my human skin, and basked in the moment of veiwing my new self. I looked at my reflection in the black water. I now had silver fur, webbed claw's and feet, the face of a wolf, and the body of a woman. I had become a new being.
