The chair turned, and Gaara stared at me with his sea green, pupiless eyes. I stared back and grinned, Akkikouhi whispering that she wanted to eat him, but I said no. That would give me even more bad reputation than necessary. I licked my lower lip and gave Gaara a grinning glared from under my eyelashes. He squinted at me and stood, walking towards me.
"Gaara.... Been a while." I snickered.
I observed his clothes. A long white robe and a white scarf.
"I don't suppose you came back for this...?" Gaara mumbled, digging around in his cloak, and pulling out my old, green scarf I used to wear when I lived in the Sand.
"You've been keeping that the whole time?" I said, softening my gaze and taking the pea green scarf.
Gaara didn't say anything, just took my shoulder and walked down the stairs with me. I shuddered. His hand was just as cold as it was before... I twitched my ear, and watched him out of the corner of my eye...
