Let's face it. Disney's Official Walt Disney World Website is generally useless for anything besides booking your trip. They are biased because their main focus is to sell their product, the website is updated very infrequently, and is confusing a lot of the time. Which is why my information that I give to you here is generally from other sources. Sure, if you wanna know the real deal, you could get a guidebook, in which case I recommend this one, but that often means even more money out of your pocket. There are sources out there, besides my articles on here and the forum topics, that can help you with planning your trip. Those of us who do these websites have only one interest: ensuring that you have the best time possible.

WDW Magic

www.wdwmagic.com

This is personally my favorite website for all things Disney. They generally update their site daily, they get the news before everyone else, either from their spies wandering the parks or from Disney themselves, and they are especially useful during their trip, since they post the random bits of information you would not normally care to know but that would be greatly appreciated on your trip (ex. Magic Kingdom operating hours extended or Extra showing of Fantasmic tonight).

They also have a forum with what other guests are saying, which can be quite useful, and a complete guide to everything you would need to know. Their calendar will let you know what to expect in the way of events as well as ride closures. They also make apps for iPhone and have a mobile site.* They are truly amazing, which is why they get to go first.

The Daily Disney by Orlando Sentinal

These are the pros reporting. This is generally a site for those who have gone to Disney before and want to find out what's new. They also post the less random bits of information and get the the more solid stuff. They do a lot of reviews, planning guides, and they post deals, so they can be a very good source. They aren't updated as frequently as WDW Magic, but they serve their purpose.

Stitch Kingdom

www.stitchkingdom.com

Not my favorite site but they serve their purpose. They report on all news relating to all areas of the Disney company, so while not as useful as WDW Magic and the Daily Disney for news, they do have guides available on how to use things such as Photopass and iPhone apps.

Mouse Savers

www.mousesavers.com

My dad found this one a long time ago and still uses it. The sites provides reviews, information on deals and discounts, and other guides. Though not a news site, it still is quite useful and may help you to save a few bucks.

If you found any other sites useful and would like me to add them, please send me a message, comment, or post on my wall. I promise I will check it out.
