Vicky Stalls was great. Going into sixth grade is tough. It's harder when you're the youngest. Befriending the new student, a strange and outcast girl who has mysterious timing, Vicky learns that tough doesn't describe life. When this new student happens to be the only person in the world who will understand, Vicky must learn that being a werewolf doesn't necessarily mean being alone, and being alone is the least of her worries.

Now the two are the stars of the city. Part human, part wolf, the duo become the town superheroes. But life as a hero is dangerous, and not just because they're young. Terror lies behind every corner, and poor Vicky is in for the time of her life.
