Queen Victoria
Hi everyone, since I love history here are my least and most favourite Historical Figure in random order.

Queen Victoria

She was the longest reigning British monarch in history following her descendant, Queen Elisabeth II. She came to the throne when she was 18 years old and had a miserable childhood, she was being bullied by her mother's alleged lover, Sir John Conroy.
Conroy and her mother devised the Kensington System that will rendered the young Victoria so that the former could serve as her regent, but it was backfired when Victoria became queen and expelled Conroy from her court, she married her first cousin, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.

Princess Diana

I first heard about her in 1997 during her untimely death, I learnt more about her as time goes by and she had a terrible relationship with her in-laws.
I was devastated about her death when I watched the full version on Youtube on the 10th anniversary of her passing, her brother's speech was really amazing when he accused the paparazzi for not leaving her alone.

Empress Maria Theresa of Austria

Her life was really interesting, and I think she was being compared to her Russian counterpart, Catherine the Great. Unlike the latter, Maria Theresa did not have many boyfriends and was faithful towards her husband. She was completely unprepared to the Austrian throne when she was young.
Under her reigns, arts and science played a dominant role.

Empress Elisabeth of Austria

The popular wife of Emperor Francis Joseph I of Austria, she was very popular in Hungary especially, unfortunately her life has been compared to Princess Diana as she did not get on well with the Austrian Imperial Court and her mother in law, who happened to be her aunt as well!
I heard about her during my holidays in Vienna. Her life fascinates me and the poor empress was suffering from a form of depression. Probably Bipolar, until her assassination in Geneva.

Kate Middleton

Many people tend to compare her to her late mother in law, however as I saw her engagement interview. She sounds very mature despite being nervous! But on than that, I grew a liking on her.

These 5 historical women are considered my favourites, do you have any?
