As I awoke the next morning Mother was already hard at work makeing breakfest and cleaning the house even though it was already spotless, "Mother are you alright?" I asked comeing from upstairs still kinda dizzy from last night's ordeal, "Yes dear just doing some cleaning." Mother replied as she started to clean the bookshelf, "Mother it seem's something has spooked you." I said siting down at the table "It's nothing Max!" she replied with fear in her voice I looked at her with great concern, *Barking* "What is it boy?" I said with a worried tone as I reached to pet him but something was wrong, Simba was acting different he tried to bite me!! "Mother what's wrong with Simba?!" I said with still shakeing *growling* "Simba bad dog!!" Mother yelled as she hit him with the broom, Simba ran off and out the doggy door. "What has gotten into that dog?" Mother asked as she took a closer look at my hand, "Well he didn't bite you, thank goodness." Mother said as she sat down in the chair next to me, I looked at her "Mother something is wrong Simba has never tried to hurt me... was it because of what happen last night?" I asked as I got up and walked over to her "....No Max it wasn't what happened it was what you found yesterday." Mother replied crying as she looked at me "Mother..." I said as I started to cry a bit too huging her tightly "Max I don't want to lose you too.." Mother replied crying even more holding me tighter. "Mother.... please tell me I don't want you to think you will lose.. maybe there is something I can do!" I said as I let go of her with my head hung low still crying "Max...." Mother replied crying but with a smile on her face as if she knew I was the only one who could do something "Go get the pendent you found yesterday dear." Mother said as she stood up and pointed toward's the stair's, I smiled a little as I went upstair's and into my room but when I entered I felt a dark presence behind me, I didn't let that bother me I ran for the pendent but something had latched hold of me from behind, I turned around but nothing was there, I reached for the pendent but it was slightly out of reach "You're mine boy!!" said a voice comeing from behind me, I had felt this presence before but I couldn't pin point where, I had finally reached the pendent as soon as I grabed it the presence faded when I turned around with the pendent in hand "What the hell is going on here?" I asked myself as I ran back downstair's. By the time I had gotten to the kitchen the dark presence had returned "Mother! where are you!!" I yelled at the top of my lung's it seemed the dark presence had turned out all the light's in the house and cover it in darkness and muck, I was struggleing to find Mother but it seemed hopeless "Max.... Max over here!!" a voice said comeing from my left it sounded like Mother so I ran off in that direction wadeing through the muck that had found it's way into our home "Mother!!" I yelled as the light's in the kitchen came back on, it seemed the dark presence had captured Mother and was draining her life energy "Max.... run.." Mother said as she muttered her last word's before her soul was forever taken by the dark presence "NOOO!!!!!! MOTHER!!!!!" I yelled as a bright light eminated from my chest, with one last burst of light everything was gone. When I awoke it was pitch black "Not again." I said to myself as if I had already been through this before, as I moved around trying to find a way out it seemed like there was no way of knowing where I was, it felt like day's had gone by but I couldn't tell "Will I ever get out?!" I thought to myself as I sat down crying over my Mother being taken from me by that dark presence, a couple hour's later sorrow turned to anger then anger to depression, as I lie there hopeless someone started talking to me "Max.." the voice said as it sounded like it was getting closer "What's wrong?" the voice asked as if it was right infront of me, I looked around but nothing was there. "Who's there?" I asked as i looked even more "A close friend Max." the voice replied I got up and walked forward "You won't be able to find me Max.. not untill you learn to harness the power you controll" the voice said as the room lite up, I finally could see, as I looked around to get my bareings the light in my chest started to glow again "Huh? not this again." I said as I grabed my chest in slight pain "There Max that power is you're greatest weapon harness it and use it to find you're Mother." the voice replied as it started manifesting itself infront of me. It looked like Simba but thar couldn't be Simba had ran out before the dark presence consumed the house "Don't be alarmed Max it's me Simba." he said with a happy tone, I was shocked that he could even talk.... "Am I dreaming?" I asked as I was struggleing to keep from fainting "Are you going to be okay Max?" Simba asked in a worried voice as he rushed over to me. I couldn't hold myself any longer I blacked out and fell "Max!" Simba said as he cought me before I hit the floor.
Lonely Girl
So peaceful in sleep she lies
Brown hair spilled across her pillow
I can picture her beautiful eyes
Looking into her dreams…
She looks like she’s not listening
But really she’s deep in thought
Remembering forgotten memories
When she lived life as she ought
Stolen kisses in the night
Laughing with her friends
Little did she know back then
This is where it all would end
Her heart is filled with regret
Always looking back
She wishes she would just forget
And find happiness once more
I don’t think she’ll ever forget you
But for now there’s joy on her face
She keeps reminding herself
It’s not a race, to be the first to find your place
Now as the sun goes down
She’ll say a prayer
Wishing perhaps for you
But really, life’s not that fair
There’s nothing this Lonely Girl can do
So peaceful in sleep she lies
Brown hair spilled across her pillow
I can picture her beautiful eyes
Looking into her dreams…
She looks like she’s not listening
But really she’s deep in thought
Remembering forgotten memories
When she lived life as she ought
Stolen kisses in the night
Laughing with her friends
Little did she know back then
This is where it all would end
Her heart is filled with regret
Always looking back
She wishes she would just forget
And find happiness once more
I don’t think she’ll ever forget you

It’s not a race, to be the first to find your place
Now as the sun goes down
She’ll say a prayer
Wishing perhaps for you
But really, life’s not that fair
There’s nothing this Lonely Girl can do
