How NOT To Light the Town Christmas Tree (with Guest Star Appearance!)
"And tonight, we have local hero, Flash Jr.-"
Wally whispered something in the Mayor's ear and sat back down.
"Sorry, Tonight we have local hero Kid Flash to continue this century long ritual of lighting the Town Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve!"
The mayor stepped aside and Wally stepped up to the stand.
"Thank you mayor and citizens of Central City! I'm going to make this quick and simple because I've got a hot date to go to-"
The crowd laughed.
"Naw, not really, let's do this!" Wally said with a grin. He took the trigger from the mayor and was about to press the button when somebody shouted from the back.
"I object!" he said.
"Excuse me?" Wally asked.
"I object to this show of holiday cheer!" the man said.
"Ah, shut up!" Someone in the front of the crowd said.
Wally looked up to see a ball of flames headed towards him. He jumped out of the way as the stand exploded. The crowd screamed and ran, leaving Wally facing a guy with red and yellow hair.
"What's your problem?" he asked.
The guy threw two more flame balls which Wally easily dodged.
"Stay still!" the guy said.
"Cool your jets, Hotstreak!" a voice said, and a metal box was thrown at the fire spitter.
An African American boy in a black and blue outfit landed next to Wally. He had the same logo as Wally's on his shirt, except reversed.
"Hey! That's my logo!" Wally protested.
The boy looked at his shirt and at Wally's.
"Nah, mine is three pronged and stays inside the circle, yours doesn't." the boy said.
Wally looked and saw sure enough the boy was right.
"Duck!" the boy yelled, tackling Wally behind the stage.
"Thanks!" Wally said as part of the stage exploded.
"No problem. Static by the way. Static Shock." the boy stuck out his hand and Wally shook it. "Hey! You're Flash Boy!"
"Kid Flash," Wally said. "Why is that so hard?"
Another part of the stage exploded. "So what do we do?" Wally asked.
"Cool him down!" Static said, like it was obvious.
The two heroes leaped over what remained of the wooden stage and ran at the flame user.
"I've got a bone to pick with you, Static!" Hotstreak said. He threw a flameball at the hero and Static dodged. The Christmas tree caught on fire.
"Not cool, dude!" Wally yelled. "That was my job!"
"Do I look cool?" Hotstreak yelled, throwing flame balls at Wally, all which he easily dodged.
"No," Wally said, putting his goggles on. "Let's cool you off!"
Wally zipped around the flame user, creating his own snowstorm. Hotstreak tried to hit Wally with flames, but all he did was melt the ice. By the time Wally stopped, the boy was encased in ice.
"Thanks for the help!" Static said. Wally gave him a fist bump, then looked at the ruined Christmas tree.
"That is NOT how I imagined myself lighting the Christmas Tree." Wally said.

Season 2: Invasion (2012)
The show's creator, Greg Weisman, confirmed the show had been renewed for a second season of 20 episodes, titled Young Justice: Invasion, which would most likely begin airing in March 2012.
The Team, with new additions, must partner up with their mentors in the Justice League to save Earth from Darkseid and his Apocalyptic Armies.
This is going to be so cool!
I hate having to do this to get a long enough article to publish:
