Leah
"Can't you phase outta here out something?" Darien leaned against the wall.
"Don't you think I've tried that already? I don't know why my powers won't work!" I pushed on the bars, they were slighty bowed, but not enough to tell.
"Well, I think it has something to do with your emotions." he voice was scratchy, probably from the lack of liquid in this place.
"Darien, there's someone coming, get down and act unconscious!" I sat down against the wall, closing my eyes just enough to look like I was out, but just enough to see. I saw a young girl, about 12. Three years younger than me. She had black hair that came down and fell on her shoulders, and emarald green eyes. The Riddler shoved her in the cell across from Darien and me, and left. The young girl opened her eyes and looked at me. I walked over to the edge of cell, sat down and motioned Darien to come over, he walked over and sat next to me.
"What's you name?" he spoke up.
"My name's Leah, I was riding my bike home when someone grabbed me. Aren't you too superheroes." I just nodded.

A Valentine's Day Fanfiction

“What are you doing for Valentine's Day?” Artemis asked.
Megan looked at the only other person in the kitchen/family room center. Artemis was watching her with curious blue eyes. Megan blushed and looked back down at her bowl.
“I don't know what that is. What's a Valentine's Day?”
“Oh. It's...a day where you show people how much you care. Most of the time it's between couples but friends do it too.”
Megan nodded and started mixing again. She felt eyes on her and felt free to ask her question.
“What's a Valentine?”
“Someone or several people you care a lot about.”
“What do you give this Valentine?”
“Some people give gifts, some give cards. But I think a day alone is enough.”
“...What are you doing?”
“Nothing. I don't have a Valentine.”
“...Would it be weird if you were mine?”
Megan looked up at Artemis' surprised face. Her question had obviously shocked the archer, who was now contemplating the idea. Megan looked back down until she felt a hand on her shoulder.

Requested by 66Dragons

Since the team had been doing better than ever, Batman had allowed them a party at Mt. Justice. All the young heroes and sidekicks were invited and the assigned chaperones had canceled other plans.
“Yes! This is going to be awesome!” Wally exclaimed as he ran around.
“Wally!” Willow scolded on a giggle. “Stop.”
She shook her head and went back to hanging decorations. Megan was cooking all sorts of treats, Becca helping her so they came out perfect. Artemis and Kaldur had gone out to arrange for something without tons of sugar, Connor was clearing out the party space of dirt, and Robin was helping hang streamers...in the rafters. Each were assigned a different job and set out to do as told. Wally had decided he was not able to wait.
“Yo Rob? Is Bats letting you come to the party?” he asked on a speed high.
“Yeah but I'm not coming.”
“What? Why not?”
“Becca and I have previous engagements.”
“So?”

Act Three:

Reaper grinned as he pulled the trigger.

The grin quickly faded from his face as he felt a booted foot slam into his cheek, knocking his bullet off course and him to the ground.

"Run, Grant!" Nightbird yelled.

Nightbird's costume fit her like a glove. The skin-tight black bodysuit outlined her curves and figure. The blue utility belt hang loosely to one side of her body. The blue bird emblem on her chest stood out brightly, matching her knee-high boots. A cape went down to her waist. Black on the outside and blue on the inside. Her mask covered the top half of her head, leaving a slit on the back so her blonde hair could hang free. The eyeholes were large, large enough that she didn't try to cover them up with sunglasses. Her nose was exposed and the same blue bird symbol adorned the top of the mask, with it's wings spreading to either side of the eyes.

Sam didn't waste anytime in stumbling away.

Nightbird kicked Reaper in the stomach before turning and tackling Horseman off of his horse.

Act Two:

"Funny that you should call me by such a name." the man said, sitting on the couch.

"What do you want?" Sam asked.

"Simply to finish what I started." Reaper replied.

"And what would that be?" Sam growled.

Reaper stood up and put his hand on Sam's shoulder. "Why to take over Grant Industries and mold it into my image."

"To do that would mean..."

"...Killing all of you first. Yes, you are quite an intelligent boy." Reaper finished.

Sam growled and kneed Reaper in the stomach before darting out the door and sliding down several flights of stairs. He darted into the garage where his car should be, but he remembered, he had left it at HQ. He had his Red Revenge costume in a small packet in his pocket, but it was useless if he couldn't change into it.

Looking around desperately for another vehicle, Sam spotted his bike and darted for it as Reaper busted down the door.

Samuel Grant
New York City, NY, USA

"I really don't get this." Sam said as Holly dabbed makeup onto his eyes.

"Oh come on!" she protested. "It's Halloween! Your Samuel Grant! Lighten up!"

"Do I really have to wear this?" Sam asked.

"Yes," Holly said, giving him the puppy-eyes treatment. "Only if you want to."

Sam sighed and nodded. "Continue."

Holly continued to dab makeup on for a minute more before stepping aside.

"I look like my grandmother, and she's been dead what? Five years?"

"That's the whole point." Holly said, washing her hands of the makeup.

"What? To look like my grandmother?"

"No. To appear like you've been dead for five years." Holly replied, drying off her hands.

"What are you going as?" Sam asked.

Becca sat cuddled in Robin's arms. Her smile was genuine and her heart was wrapped in love. There was a movie playing in the DVD player, but neither really noticed. They were too caught up in each other. Becca moved her head to look at him.
“I'm so glad you're still here,” she whispered.
“I enjoy having you alive as well.”
Becca smiled and the two kissed. Becca tangled her fingers in his hair and Robin attached his hands to her waist. He leaned back, taking up the couch space. Becca lay on top of him and their legs tangled together. Robin rolled them over so he was on top. He broke away, looking down at her. He smiled down at her and brought their lips back togther.
“I love you.”
“I love you two.”

The others arrived home to find Becca and Robin asleep on the couch. Becca was curled up against her boyfriend, arms around his neck. Robin had brought her close, arms wrapped tightly around her waist. Becca's head rested under his chin and both looked peaceful.

Becca stood next to Willow. She put a hand on her shoulder, making the other girl look at her.
“If you want, Willow, I could always add this to Wally's antidote.”
Becca held up a pink colored vial of liquid.
“What is it?”
“...Let's just say I got this from Ivy. Her plants are worth studying.”
“No way Becca! If he doesn't love me anymore, I'll live. But I want to know the truth.”
Becca groaned and put the vial away.
“I never get to use it,” she muttered as she poured a white liquid down Wally's throat.
She moved away when the speedster coughed and his eyes opened.
“Wally! You're awake!”
“Willow!”
He grabbed her, giving her lips a kiss she wouldn't soon forget. Willow pulled away, looking at him.
“Wally. I want you to know something.”
“Hang on Willow. I need to apologize. I made a mistake. Letting you go was the worst thing I've ever done. So you don't share everything with me. I should learn to accept it. And I should also know that it's hard to talk about your past. I'll never ever push you again as long as you get back together with me.”

Adam landed beside where Billy stood. He let Artemis down, smiling at her.
“Not the best first date ever was it?” he asked.
Artemis smiled.
“It was perfect. And I already decided that we're going out again Saturday. Pick me up at seven.”
Artemis stood on tiptoes and kissed him before stepping away, biting her lip. Adam looked at her, the look in his eyes seeming to shine through.
“Seven it is.”
He brought his lips back to hers, wrapping an arm around her while the other hand cupped her face. Artemis brought her hands up to surround his neck, a smile on her lips.
“Well, I better go,” Billy said, looking at Willow.
She smiled at him.
“Thank you Billy. I wished I had something to give you.”
“No need Willow. Just being with you was pleasure enough for me.”
Willow grinned this time, giving him a quick kiss. He looked at her with wide eyes.
“I may not be able to give you my heart Billy, but you deserved something after all you've done. And I hope you can find someone who is perfect for you.”

Billy ran around the room at full speed. He had seen the others tiring and knew it was time to end this. He had trapped Masq away from the others. At the speed he was going, nothing made it past him. All of her attacks bounced right back at her. And she was failing with each new burst of desperation. What he hadn't counted on was Masq using a dark field of energy. She used the Negative speed force, draining away his speed and energy. Like a whip, it wrapped around his throat and she held him high in the air. The others were pushed against the wall with the same force.
“I warned you Speed! This is your last chance! Join me.”
Billy clawed at the force that was damaging his air pipe.
“N-never...”he rasped out as best he could.
He started choking when the dark magic was tightened against his throat.
“Billy!” Willow yelled.
She fought to get free, hurting herself in the process. Artemis and Adam had tried to get free too, but Willow had seemed to cut herself on the Dark Magic. A sudden light blinded them. It dimmed down and Twila hovered in the room, her body surrounded in a phoenix of white fire. When she spoke, it was with rage and...

The mountain was quiet, minus the ticking of the clock and the whirring of the computer. She checked their vital signs continuously. They all seemed fine. Seemed like they would wake up any second now. Except Becca. The shell had still protected her, but Megan was getting worried. Nothing seemed to work. She had tried everything.
“What can I do? I've done my best but nothing is working!”
Megan looked down as the tears began to pour from her eyes. Everything was a mess and she felt her heart breaking. It was like loosing her family all over again. But this time it was on Earth. Megan looked up as the hard covering around Becca turned from black to a light blue. The vital signs hadn't changed, but something had. Megan looked at the clock; an hour left. She prayed that the others would find the cure and save the team. She didn't know why the others were still asleep, but she just hoped they would wake up soon.
“Someone help me!”

Willow fell to the ground as she dove away from one of Masq's thrown attacks. The sorceress was powerful and was willing to kill. Willow hadn't met anyone like her in a long time. But she knew that there was a history...

Adam flew down to the gate, spotting Billy and Willow below. He landed, placing Artemis on her feet. She removed her hands, looking at the speedster.
“What's the plan?” she asked.
“I'll deal Masq the final blow. But she has several weak points. Aim for her neck, knees, and her chest. They are the most vulnerable. If you can't, her elbows, feet, and the top of her head should be open. And dodge ANYTHING she throws at you. It's fear gas. With her poisonous touch.”
“Great. And what about her magic skill?”
“Don't worry about that. I've got this covered.”
“Okay. Do you know where in the house she is?”
“Yeah. The ballroom.”
“Alright. Let's move.”

Twila exited the portal with Alex at her side.
“We should be helping them,” she said. “Instead, we're in paradise.”
“Twila, my dear, how can you doubt when we are here? They are heroes. They have no need of us till the end. Now, relax. I know when her time is to come.”
“You may be the master of time Alex, but you can't understand my worry.”

Billy approached the mountain, holding Willow closer and bending over her.
“Hang on,” he said.
He ran faster and Willow could feel him vibrating. He ran straight for the mountain and Willow shut her eyes, waiting for impact. When nothing happened, she opened her eyes to find herself inside the mountain, still in Billy's arms.
“How'd you do that?!” she exclaimed as he set her on her feet.
Billy grinned.
“Vibrated my molecules. If I'm caring something-or someone-I can vibrate their molecules too. Kinda like phasing through. But more scientific.”
“That was amazing!”
“Willow?”
“Megan!”
Willow headed over to he martian and looked back at Billy.
“Come with me!” she offered.
“Shouldn't. Star City needs my speed factor.”
Willow laughed, waving her fingers as she held out her hand.
“C'mon.”
When he hesitated, Willow grabbed his hand, dragging him with her.
“Megan. How are they?”
“Still stable. All but Becca. She's going fast.”

A young girl ran through the icy tundra. No more running!! She pleaded. She hasn't drank anything for three days and had not eaten in twice that amount. Her bare feet were flying as she pounded agents the hard packed snow. She could hear the dogs behind her , the cold wind whipped through her small jumpsuit that only went to her knees and elbows . But she kept running. She glanced down at the gun on her hip, it would be so simple it would take less than a second, just point and shoot . Then it would be over in a second , no more running , no more hunger, no more pain. NO!! She screamed in her head, Just keep going . The wurr of engines were behind her along with the baying of dogs. Then she tripped on a bare bush, getting a face full of snow.
“Well well well, what do we have here?” A mans voice said growling and the girl was lifted up by her hair.
“Where are your little friends when you need them?” He asked the nine year-old.

4 years later

“Delta,” The black haired girl looked up at the group of teens in front of her.

Twila and Alex stood outside the mountain, hiding in the shadows. They could feel the dark magic inside, waiting to overflow. Twila turned to Alex, worry in her eyes.
“The process is too far along. We're too late!”
Alex cupped her cheeks in his hands, looking down at her.
“Everything will work out. I promise.”
“How can you be so calm?! She's dying in there! I can't stop! There's too much of it!”
His thumbs stroked her soft skin, tears making the surface wet. He gave a small smile, kissing her forehead.
“Nothing to fear love. No one will die this night.”
“How can you be so sure?”
“I trust my instincts. I control time. Nothing will harm them.”
Twila looked up at him, her tears at bay.
“I hope you're right. If anything happens to them...”
“Need I remind you? She knew about it from the very beginning. She knew all of this would happen.”
“Yes but that's only because-”
“Shhh. No excuses. She knew and sacrificed. There will be no more of this. Just trust me.”

The New Adventures of Red Revenge
Episode One: Crimson Harvest

Prologue-

Sam tripped falling flat on his face in the mud. He stumbled up and continued running. Behind him he could hear the sound of a horse's hooves in hot pursuit and a cloak billowing through the grass.

"Pick up!" he whispered hoarsely into his microphone.

A rope leapt out at his ankles and tripped him.causing him to fall again. The grain in the field he was surrounded in clung to him. Sam rolled over to see Reaper's head blocking the crimson moon above. Reaper cocked a gun and pointed it at Sam's face.

"And now I finish it." he said, and pulled the trigger.

Artemis stood with her back against the railing. Guards surrounded her and she was not too happy with the guns they had pulled on her. Her search of the other buildings had come up dry. But when LexCorp guards had flooded the streets, Artemis knew something had gone wrong. She had started off looking for Willow but had ended up between a rock and a hard place. She gave a quick glance to the street far below her; not good being up at least fifty stories. She took a deep breath and then remembered something. Crossing her wrists, Artemis quickly put her hands above her head. A second later, she was pulled into the sky. Naturally, she let out a scream.
“Calm down archer! You'll give away our position!”
“Adam!” Artemis exclaimed.
“Why hello! Thank you for not screaming!”
Artemis let out a laugh.
“How are we flying? You're in human form!”
“Wings on my back. Help me do wonders!”
“How'd you know to look for me?”
“I live in the buisness district! I saw the guys from LexCorp. By the way, shooting them with arrows only makes them angrier!”

Willow felt worried. After all they'd done to get the antidote, it was a fake. And now she was running from security guards and assassins. I hate Lex Luthor more than ever! I should've payed more attention when Becca was teaching me how to hack! Narrowly missing a bullet, Willow ducked under the closest thing. Unfortunately for her, it was a large dumpster. When she saw their feet go past, Willow crawled out from under there and wiped herself off. She turned as a gun shot was heard. The bullet was pointed right at her. There was a blur of blue and white. A teenage boy stood in front of her, holding the bullet in his hand. His hair was wild a red, his white costume accentuated in blue. And it fit nicely on his toned body. When he spoke, his voice was teasing but melodious.
“Wow! You are loosing your edge Slade! Need some help?”
Another bullet was fired and the hero scooped Willow up before speeding away. He stopped a few blocks away, looking at the girl in his arms. His emerald green eyes lit with pleasure.

“What do we do now?”
“We have to find the owner of the Dark Magic and force them to take it back.”
“How?”
“Tracing it. But I can't! The exoskeleton protects from ALL forms of magic!”
“Then we better find Cheshire. Megan, stay with them. Make sure Becca stays dormant until we come back. Are the others okay?”
“Yes Artemis. They have been stable the whole time.”
“Good. Just keep an update on Becca. Willow, let's go.”

The two girls slunk against the exterior of the house.
“Be quiet,” Artemis whispered.
Willow nodded and followed the archer. They had to be careful not to wake the assassin up. If they were ever going to know anything, they HAD to have the upper hand. Artemis typed in the codes Adam had taught them. Denied.

“Here, let me try.”
Willow's eyes glowed misty blue and the commands changed. They were in.
“Why were we denied before?” Artemis asked as she opened the door.

He moved into the kitchen, grabbing some food before making his way to bed. He stopped when he heard a small noise at the back of the building. He crept toward the noise, looking for the intruder.
