“Becca?”
“Coming Willow.”
Becca opened the door to her apartment, ushering Willow in.
“You want a drink? Food?”
“Always a hostess. No thanks.”
Becca nodded, shutting the door and locking it. She turned to her sister.
“What can I do for you?”
“...I'm feeling nervous. Talk me back into this plan of yours.”
Becca smiled, joining her sister on the small love seat. She put her head on Willow's lap, bending her knees so her feet were on the seat.
“Willow, you're getting into that gown whether I force you in or not. We're testing Wally's love for you. I have a feeling it'll go beyond your comprehension. Either way, you'll be able to love each other.”
“What makes you think we never did?”
“Oh, you did. But Wally was scared of it.”
“I'm not following.”
“Look at it this way Willow. Wally's always been free to flirt and take out any girl of his choice. He's been on plenty of dates, has received multiple kisses, and has given tons back. But settling for one girl is something that terrifies him. He sees it as his freedom being taken away. But the love he's hiding for you will only give him more freedom. Cause he won't feel the need to be such a player.”
Willow looked down at her sister, studying her. A few minutes later, she leaned down to kiss Becca's nose. Becca looked up at her like a confused puppy.
“I don't know how you do that, but you make everything so easy to understand.”
“It's a gift.”
Becca shrugged. Willow smiled.
“Becca?”
“Hmm?”
“How do you deal with feeling unworthy?”
“...huh?”
“How do you deal with your insecurities and jealousy?”
“Oh. If I'm insecure, I usually hide it. But Robin knows me so well. I hated it at first. But now I love how he can tell I'm not happy. He talks to me, sometimes we dance while we talk. Other times he'll take me to the graveyard. And there are other times where it'll be just us at the BatCave. But he always makes it romantic, where ever we go. It's his way of telling me to speak up. Cause then he always tells me how perfect for him I am.”
While she talked, Becca's eyes had turned from brown to purple. Willow smiled.
“He tells you you're perfect?”
“No. That's the beauty of it. He never says I'm perfect. He always says I'm perfect for him.”
“He's sweet.”
“You have no idea. It's the things, no matter how small, that make me fall head over heels.”
“What's the smallest task of love he's ever shown towards you?”
Becca stayed silent, thinking. Then she smiled.
“He always makes sure I'm wearing my ring. Even if I have gloves on, he'll grab my left hand first, making sure the ring is still there. It warms my heart cause it shows he cares.”
“How do you handle jealousy?”
Becca smirked and looked up into her sister's eyes.
“If he's alone, he'll tell the girls to stay away, that he's already committed. If I'm there, he'll kiss me when they start flirting.”
“So you don't get jealous?”
“I do. But Robin knows better than to say more than needed. Otherwise hell would break loose on all who flirted with him.”
“You're so violent.”
“Yeah. But I'm me. I have reason to be.”
“Everyone does. That doesn't mean everyone should.”
“Okay Fortune Cookie. What's my next fortune?”
“You will experience a humorous event in the near future.”
“Coming Willow.”
