One day after facing a giant public mess involving the police and a very public argument with her husband, "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin was spotted Saturday afternoon doing what many would consider to be a normal afternoon activity: having a picnic with the kids. She did not speak to any reporters, but considering the course of events Thursday and Friday this may very well be for the best.

However, will the silence last? It is doubtful, especially since Jon has already expressed his side of the story to reporters. In addition, his girlfriend Hailey Glassman is also speaking out to E! News and saying that her relationship with Jon started before the couple filed for divorce in June. Kate did a round of interviews earlier this week with "The Today Show" and "Live with Regis and Kelly," but that was before she had an opportunity to speak her mind about this latest round of drama.
