Elena has been like that about Rebekah for a long time now. In fact, while she was in a relationship with Stefan she still hated and plotted to kill Rebekah. That had nothing to do with Jealousy. They just hate each other. Is it possible that there's jealousy? I can't say it's not, as I haven't seen the future episodes, but I haven't seen it yet. She reacted much like Caroline reacted upon learning Elena was with Damon--she was concerned and doesn't like it. 3 months ago

agreed. elena is not inlove with stefan anymore. she wasn't heartbroken because of that, she was heartbren because she felt betrayed that he would be all friendly with the girl who killed her. 1 month ago

the Elena in the books wasn't all that admirable either. She was worse for stringing both brothers along (especially Damon). That said, I liked the books--though I quit reading after LJ was fired. I like TV Elena too. She's not perfect, she messes up, it makes her relateable..... 6 months ago

i love both stefan and damon i just wish she choose one perminantly so we can get on with the rest of the stuff in the show and maybe being a vampire may make her less annoying because tv elena has always seemed a bit winey compared the the book elena 6 months ago
