Reasons To Vote for Cinders-Devience and NOT Papa-Debs for President!

List posted 19 hours ago

All in good fun, I have compiled a list of why voting for the papa-amazondebs campaign for president is a mistake, and why voting for the Cinders-DrDevience campaign will be a decision you won't regret. This list is meant to be amusing, and is not supposed to be offensive to anyone. It may have just a touch of slander, but hey, you think politicians REALLY run clean campaigns all the time? ;o)

1) First of all, how about that title? papa-debs? Even papa-amazondebs. It sounds an awful lot like "Papa Smurf" doesn't it, folks? The truth of the matter is that papa and debs are...

A Linguaphile's Plea To The Public

List posted 4 days ago
Creative Outlet I am sorry if this comes off as rude, arrogant, or snobbish in anyway, but I feel it needs to be said, and as a writer, as a linguaphile, I feel it is my duty to say it.

I have compiled list of things that I am tired of seeing in writers of any kind, but particularly young writers. It is not aimed or directed at anyone one person, so no one should be offended. It is also not aimed at solely the Fanpop community, but all those on the Interwebs who take up the pen (or in this day and age, the keyboard). It is a sweeping generalization, but if you feel you are guilty of one or all...

The Top Ten Champions of Human Rights According to Cinders

List posted 16 days ago
Human Rights Author's Note: I would like you all to know that this task was exceedingly difficult. First of all, I narrowed it down to ten in this pick and that was hard enough. But I decided to organize them into a list like this, and that was tremendously hard. All of the people on this list beat out heavy competition, and I respect the one in tenth place as much as I respect the one in first place. There was a lot of switching around. Also, this list is incredibly biased. I would like to note now that honorable...

Creative Outlet Playwright's Note: I wrote this as an exercise for my playwriting class in archetypal characters. Feel free to critique. My class helped me fix it up a little. Hope you enjoy!

An Intellectual Exchange of Ideas

Opinion posted 1 month ago
Debate
courtesy of www.dividedwefail.com, though it says a lot about compromise, if you ask me.
When I created this spot nearly a year ago, my intention was to create a forum for the respectable exchange of ideas among educated individuals. To my great excitement, I got exactly that: multifaceted individuals who knew where they stood but were curious to learn about others and make their own ideas known. There were the occasional people who would refuse to listen and only talk, and there were the occasional users who would refuse to acknowledge a good point against them. But over all, I've enjoyed our lively discussions.
