Brilliant book - would have made an awesome TV series...
InterWorld was never supposed to be a book. It was supposed to be a fun Television adventure. When Gaiman and Reaves shopped the idea to all the big name TV execs and got turned down, they decided to write it out as a book in the simplest terms possible - you know, so even suits could understand it...

Then they shopped it again.

The suits still couldn't get a grasp on the concept of a multiverse, and multiple versions of the same boy being able to traverse all of these worlds.

One thing I've always been while writing reviews of various things is honest, so I will tell you right up front that I know Astrid, and not just on the Internet. We were never best buds, but we did hang out a bit back in the 80s, during her days as the lead singer for Sacred Child. I have a lot of respect for Astrid and the things she has gone through, and I just flat like the chick. So there you have my bias going in...

Shame on SVT!

SVT - no longer a chanel I want to watch
So. Right now Sverige (Sweden) is holding it's Melodifestivalen song contest to determine who we are sending to Eurovision 2008.

Each week after the broadcast, the videos are being uploaded to YouTube so the world can see who won that round and will be competing at the Globen in Stockholm for that coveted Eurovision spot.

Well, Apparently now all of sudden today (3 weeks into the contest) SVT (Sverige Television) is getting all uppity and has made YouTube pull all the videos of Bodies Without Organs performance from Round 3.... I have no idea if this will stop with...

I plan to write a full article on Heimdalls Stenar for a print publication, so this soapbox for Fanpop is just a short overview meant to explain the images I am about to upload. Many Fanpop members will glance at them and be like "umm ok, rocks in a field... big deal."

Fanpop I am not here to lecture you yet again on photo crediting. I am done with that.

I am way past the lecturing and into downright grrrrrr-ville.

You already know full well that taking something you did not create and not giving full credit to the owner is theft. Your excuses mostly boil down to laziness at this point.

So.

This is my public notice that any and all images with no credit to the original owner of the image will be rated harshly no matter how great the picture is... or how much I normally like you.
