11 months ago: Grunge is out of the way for most rock genres to be combined with it even country music. However the possibility of Grunge and Christian Rock joining forces seems the most plausible scenario. Already a metal band made a first album a throw between Christian and Grunge. The reasons for this to be possible is:

1. Grunge has strong humility in character throughout songs. Christianity teaches the importance of humility that the most true Christians have to have the characteristics of
Jesus to be considered a true Christian.

2. Grunge reaches out to people where it seems other genres don't do it as much. Christianity considers it paramount to reach out to people not of the faith and even to those questioning their faith. A true Christian has a desire to heal others and comfort those in need of it.

3. Grunge doesn't try to impress the worldly perspective of individualism (which is ironic since they believe in a communism of person hood) thus more a desire to not conform. Christianity teaches to live in the world but be not of it, that you will find yourself (even your true identity) by not giving in to the whims of the world, God expects us to have individualism of character and person hood as we try to emulate Jesus. God doesn't want us to be robots, only Satan wants robots!

4. Grunge acknowledges short comings and issues and also that the world is full of ignorance especially a lack of realism. Christianity says the world is full of sin and indifference having no desire to change its ways, they believe that even as we are bound to the shortcomings and evils of the world that we must strive to be better than that.

There you have it, Grunge and Christian rock to me is a match made in heaven.

I believe they have no respect for boundaries those mainstream pigs. Even the people commenting are scared of this.

over a year ago: If your looking for true New Age rock or want to make it yourself then here are some ground rules to accomplishing that...

New Age rock is:

1. Non-Studio produced (studio or digital production is neo-Modern junk)
2. Involves New Age music (such as melodic chanting, vocal native balladry, atmosphere intro, realm of faerie chiming and more melodic instrumentals)
3. Has clean and calm lyricism (Zero profanity, zero raging or raspy voices, violence discouraging, peace seeking, meditation and spiritual focusing)
4. Involves progressive or acoustic guitar play (nothing louder than life like pop, but authentic and clear guitar play)
5. Is related to Alternative rock.
6. Is in love with life itself.
7. Does not need high fashion or some fashion statement
8. Beholds equality (for man and for nature)and tranquility as its only movement.

over a year ago: Mine kept hopping around:

First dream was ok, I was at my house and apparently things inside were all fixed up and ready for residency so I guess we were moving. I went inside to pee quickly and got back out to get in the car, then we headed off.

Second dream we were on the road out of town for a bit when we headed to a tunnel, things were alright until some vehicles skidded out of control and we had no idea what was going on. Then we saw an army truck opening fire on all who dared pass, we rammed through a fence then another and finally through what appeared to be a large cellar door... Didn't made any sense at all.

Third dream I was setting up shop in what appeared a cross between some MMORPG meets a carnival and rennassiance festival. Some mean people tore my structure down and along came a warrioress to set them all straight, apparently I was inside some geeky girl as my avatar. Next thing when I headed through the gates I came across two shady dudes who just grabbed my avatar who felt more like a real person. We headed beyond the breach of the place and into murky buildings, I was curious as to what was going on and I felt myself shift into one of the shady dudes getting in touch with my dark side. I came back to the chick and then they began a secluded sacrificial tribunal, the psycho mistress held a knife that she slid lightly across her neck blood dripping, I had no idea what the guys were doing though. I saw another chick that I figured might have been justified as the snobby girl, I just grabbed her pulling myself out of the centerfold where the sacrifice was; she was put in it and latched down for the ritual. I cannot sum up the fear that began clouding up inside me but I wasn't going to be left for the kill! I imagine of the shady guys spilled lots of poison in her mouth that she accidentally swallowed, it likely caused her to have convulsions along with massive blood hurling and blood drilled out of her nose. The crazy mistress likely plunged the dagger into her chest to seal the black ritual of whatever sort it was suppose to be... But I didn't actually see that, all that was afterthought (after the fact I woke up) yet what I did hear after escaping successfully was a banshee of a scream that was loud enough to be heard for miles. (probably before they finished) I was in a gym at the time I heard it but I did get back to the medieval carnival or whatever it was.

Fourth dream I was playing an Online FPS with others, shooting at opponent team killing whoever I could stop, one threw a grenade at me and I just jumped over it allowing him to take a hit. I ran into another who dared signal his team to help so I slashed his throat with a knife and ran so his team wouldn't find much. Why worry because these guys can respawn just as easily but that's what went on... Online FPS games I'll admit are very barbaric. Yet when it comes to killing time this is one of the ways to do it!

over a year ago: Goth's don't worship satan, a history lesson says: Goths brought the fall of the Roman Empire, there was an era of the dark ages known as the Gothic Era where the cathedrals, gargoyles and much of the architecture came!

Modern man is unable to define gothic, except relating it to evil junk and giving them the same description as the 'Black Metal Kids' (who DO worship Satan btw). We aren't into black metal, we don't cut ourselves and we don't cry about break ups with our previous boyfriend/girlfriend.

Also to Emo_Angel1992: Your a poser if you call yourself gothic, do you actually listen to goth bands? Say Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Feilds of Nephilim, Type O Negative, Moonspell, Lacuna Coil or an easier one Evanescence? Do you wear skull, bloody or inverted crucifixes? Have you ever experimented with pale faces and black makeup? Do you wear clothing that would make you look dead? If not then your just straight EMO!


Update: I saw your profile and your as goth as Avril Lavigne is punk. Which means, not gothic worth a rats ass! The Crow doesn't save your ass and nor does any other gothic movie you choose because you dismiss the bands and other stuff that is also gothic... POSER!
