Read about that ita-densha... pretty cool! I'm still a little weird about moe imagery on cars and stuff, but when it comes to K-ON... v("(^= ^\ ) over a year ago

Yay! The RAW for the newest manga chapter was posted today, so we should have the translated one soon. I tried to read through it but. . .Well, let's just say my kanji's not up to snuff. (Getting better, though!) Looks like Sumire almost lets Mugi's name slip, though. Posted over a year ago

Woohoo -- what's the link for the manga as-is? I'd be happy to read it in Japanese, if just to catch up with the action... ('- ' ) over a year ago

Some background on manga: manga in Japan have sort of 'levels' of comprehension, which are determined by the Ministry of Education IIRC... so kid's manga have the hiragana notation and only simpe kanji, befitting their comprehension level... and adult manga don't need notation and have adult-level kanji, closer to what's in a newspaper. That said, K-ON is pretty easy to understand for an 'adult-level' manga, so it's a good place to learn kanji if you want, Huntress, as there's no hiragana notation to crutch on. Gambare!
