over a year ago: Wow, I am seeing a lot of comments saying that Delena is only lust and that Stelena is really love. Well all I have to say is that's a load of bull. These people obviously don't know that lust is basically horny. When you lust after someone, you basically just want to bone them. And if Delena’s relationship was only lust then they would have fell into bed way before. It would not take them three seasons to finally get a real kiss, whereas it took Stelena two episodes.
And another example of lust between Stelena is that they had sex only after ten episodes. And I don’t think Elena loved Stefan at the time. I think she was only in love with the safety he brought her while her parents were gone. And Stefan did not love Elena at the time either. Sure he cared about her, but he did not love her yet. In the first episode he said he knew the risk but he HAD to know her. He knew she wasn’t Katherine but he still wanted to know her. It wasn’t to make sure she was alright. And when Elena saw him, she saw a hot guy. She lusted, she was not horny, but she was lusting after his good looks and nice guy persona. And Stefan looked at her and saw a better version of Katherine: a thoughtful, strong, unselfish, caring and loving girl. He loved the idea of that. And Elena loved the idea of the way Stefan made her feel; he made her forget her trouble.
Now Stefan really loved Elena in 1x20 when he was trying to kill himself. He felt unloved; he felt that Elena would not love him if she found out who he really was. But Elena showed him that she would stay by him no matter what. And that’s when he REALLY fell in love with her. So I really don’t know why Stefan didn’t go back after he was free from Klaus, when Elena showed him in 1x20 that she would love him no matter what.
So Stelena was first lust then they turned into (what all of Stelena fans think) love. Delena is far from lust because they first start as friends, then they move further into their relationship. While Stelena jumped over friendship and took the shortcut, and that’s why they are NOW facing obstacles’ that is supposed to bring them closer, but right now is bringing them further. Delena faced their obstacles’ way into season one and two. Season one was friendship, season two was friendship and trust, and now season three is love.
And now for 2x01. I keep seeing “I care about you, but I love Stefan—it’s always going to be Stefan.” in every argument with Delena VS Stelena. Now I used to be worried about that but I’m not anymore. When Elena said that, she said it because she didn’t really know Damon that well. All she knew about him was that he loved Katherine for 145 years and tried to get her back, and failed. And that he would do anything for love, and that he was an arrogant funny guy. She did not know him at all. It wasn’t until in season 2 that she learned the REAL him, the one that felt and hid everything about him from everyone. That’s when she begins growing feelings for him. So Elena said that but it’s irrelevant now because she does know him. She has seen the good, bad, funny, arrogant, sad, loving sides of Damon. ALL of them. So to me 2x01 doesn’t matter and it’s senseless to keep using it as an argument against Delena.
So the Stelena fans (not all of them!) that are saying that and using every single thing from season 1 need to watch the rest of the seasons and try to find better arguments. Because half of them are irrelevant.

3x12 Stefan: You're better than him--better than both of us.

3x15 Damon: Whatever, did you a favor. Now you can come in and sweep her off her feet.
Stefan: Yeah, she's better off without me. Sure as hell better off without you.
So she's better off without you now, but right after your conversation with Klaus you had to claim you loved her (not saying he doesn't).
Seriously? Stefan always thinks he's better than Damon. He's obviously saying that if he can't have Elena, than Damon can't either. This douchebag won't let his brother have the happiness that he so deserves. Then he comes with some bullshit things like "If I let myself feel again, all I know is pain."
Hey Stefan! Theres an easy way to stop you from bitching and moaning. STOP DRINKING AND GO BACK ON ANIMAL BLOOD, OR LEARN HOW TO CONTROL IT.
God what kind of vampire that is suppose to live off blood, can't learn to control it. That's like a human not eating and only drinking liquids. Stefan needs to learn that it's in his nature. Its so pathetic when Caroline, a girl that probably has been a vampire for 8 months, can control her bloodlust, while Stefan 149 years old cannot.
And yet they still make him think that he's better than Damon.

over a year ago: Matt and Elena? If they were truly meant to be together, they would have stayed together. Matt and Elena broke up for a reason.

I just can't believe that we would lose hope over a couple that has no chemestry, has barely any scenes for more than two episodes, act like brother and sister, and are just friends.
Just because Klaus says something, doesn't mean Elena's going to do it. And Klaus doesn't care about Elena, all he cares about is his hybrids. He only said Matt because that was the only human he could think of at the moment.

over a year ago: Stefan says "It's your job to protect her." in 3x14 webclip.
Yet he offers to go with her? Is he going to protect her? Or rouse up Klaus with more of his lame-ass revenge scheme?

I truly think that Damon is the one who will really protect Elena. All Stefan cares about is him and his needs and wants. He doesn't want Damon and Elena to get together, but the minute she needs protecting, it turns into Damon's job. He's all smiles when Elena is "danger" free, but as soon as she is in the tiniest bit of danger, he turns the card over to Damon.
He wants Elena, but he doesn't want to move his freaking ass and do something for her.
This dude is so freaking messed up. At least Damon cares about her all the time, even when she hates him, and is there when she is danger free and in danger. This is what love is.

over a year ago: It's fans like that makes SE DE BD fans can't get along. It's like they live to pick fights and then try to act like they're the victim in the situation. They are blind to the DB, SE bashing and hating on DE and NI, but as soon as one DE fan says something they are all quick to judge. They are the reason why they're is so much hate between the couples. They keep pursing the hate further and then act like it's not their fault and we are the one attacking us. If one of us was to write that article, it would have been all over the news, but just because it was one of them, we are wrong and they right. I swear if this thing keeps going on someone is going to get hurt. Because fans take fiction couples on a show that is fake and turn it into life. Its a SHOW. If you didn't want to watch DE then why the hell are you watching their scenes on youtube and commenting on them?

I feel like that article is going to start a bigger war and more hate on Fanpop.

over a year ago: The thing is that Stelena fans only love Stefan. Some of them love Elena but are quickly turned on her whenever she has a scene with Damon.
For some of us DE fans, (Can't speak for everyone), we love them the same. Sometimes I feel irrated when she has some scenes with Damon or Stefan, but I never hated her, once. Sometimes I don't like her but never once called her a bitch, a dumbass, or anything else. I love Damon too, but sometimes dislike him when he does stupid things and mess up Elena and Damon's relationship. I love both equally and is not about to turn on the other for just one scene.
I mean I have stomached 3 and a half season of SE's "Epic" love. I didn't want to watch it, I never once loved any of their scene, and I am not about to start now. So why can't SE fans deal with our scenes. I mean they do know that the show is a love triangle and that DE is going to happen. They are suppose to, and they are going too. I'm pretty sure they knew that from the first interview from the writers. So why are they acting like this is the first time that they heard of this love triangle?

over a year ago: Oh my god I am starting to be very pissed. Stelena fans are saying that Elena is cold hearted bitch (youtube) for letting Stefan go. I mean really? What the hell was she suppose to do? She wasted her whole summer trying to find him, going out of her way when she knew Klaus would kill her if he found out about her, told him to try and fight for his humanity, tried to get Lexi to help him, went out of her way to talk to Rebekah (who would have killed her) to find out a way to kill Klaus so Stefan could be free, devised a plan to get Stefan back, and still they say she had no right. Seriously? And even if Stefan wanted to come back he didn't. Klaus said that he was FREE from his compulsion and that he didn't have to do anything else for him. Stefan was free to turn his humanity back on and feel. If he really loved Elena, he would have went back to her the second he got free. Sure Elena would have no welcomed her in open arms, but they would have made it. But instead he chose to go with Katherine and leave the country. What was Elena suppose to do? Run after him and tell him to come back? It was clear that he didn't want to or else he would have been back. And as for people saying that Damon didn't care about his brother and that he was happy when Elena said to let Stefan is such a lie. Damon went through this whole plan to save Stefan because he wanted his brother back with him. He even almost got killed by Klaus in 3x03 just so Elena could talk to Stefan to get him back. And I'm sure Damon knew that the dagger was going to kill him also because in 2x16 when he was going to kill Elijah, it said that if a vampire tried to kill a original with that kind of dagger, he would also be dead. So in a way he kinda knwe that he was going to die but did it for the sake of his brother. So I hate when people say that Stefan cares more about Damon then Damon does for him, and that he's trying to steal his girl. Okay, first of all Elena is not Stefan's "girl", she is not an object to be won by either of the brothers. So I hate when people treat her like a prize, like she is something to be auction off and won by the best dealer.
And a little of topic, but why did Stefan steal Klaus's family? All Klaus wanted was to reunite his family without Mikeal. Because if he didn't care he wouldn't have kept them in the back of a truck that follows him everywhere. He would have just buried them and throw them god knows where. So why did he do that and stir more trouble? Now he has put Elena in danger again. I just hope some sense get's knocked into him to make him start thinking again.
