The difference? Loyalty.

When it comes to the Marauders, no one really likes Peter. Order members and Death Eaters alike. Why? Peter was a Death eater... Wasn't he? Not a true one, in my eyes.

Here's the Marauders. The first three, are in order of how much I like them, and below them, I will list why I like them. Peter is #4, and I will list some reasons not to like him, underneath.

1) Sirius Black
-He fights for what he believes in
-He was strong enough to pull away from his family, of blood-purity lovin' Blacks

Remembering Alice and Frank Longbottom

The Longbottoms
Alice and Frank Longbottom are the parents of Gryffindor, Neville Longbottom. They were not killed, but they faced a fate worse than death.

Not much is known about the Longbottoms, but they were both Aurors and were members of the Original Order of the Phoenix during the first war. Both Aurors and members of the Order of the Phoenix risked their lives every day. They knew what they were getting themselves into, but they fought fiercely for what they believed in. It takes a strong person to risk their own life. Not many people were in the Original Oder of the Phoenix, probably...

Remembering Dobby

Dobby died in March of 1998. He was killed when we was rescuing Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ollivander, Luna and Griphook the Goblin from the Death Eaters.

Dobby was a house-elf. They are servants to wizards. Magic ties them to their Master, so they must listen and do what their Master wants them to do. If they go against their masters commands, they must punish themselves with self-harm. The only way a house-elf can become free is if their master gives them a piece of clothing. Most house-elves would be devastated if they were given a piece of clothing, their freedom would be like an...

Remembering Severus Snape

Severus Snape
Severus Snape was killed on May 2nd, 1998, by Voldemort. Voldemort killed him because he thought that Snape was the master of the Elder Wand, and if he killed him, then he would be the master.

Snape is a half-blood. He did not have a good childhood. It is possible that he was neglected at home. Also, he was bullied by James Potter and Sirius Black from the moment he started attending the school. Taking the bullying to far once, Sirius almost led Snape to a certain death. Sirius told Snape about the hidden passageway under the Whomping Willow, which led to the Shrieking Shack....

Remembering Nymphadora Tonks

Tonks and her husband, Remus Lupin,
Nymphadora Tonks, better known as simply "Tonks", was killed on May 2nd, 1998, in the Battle of Hogwarts. She was battling alongside her husband, Remus Lupin.

Tonks is the daughter of Andromeda Tonks, formerly Black. Her mother had gotten away from her families ways. She was not a Death Eater and she did not believe in blood-purity; Tonks took after her mother in that way.

The first time we see Tonks she is helping to safely move Harry from the Dursleys house to 12 Grimmauld Place. That night she risked her life, but it was all for the cause. Tonks was both an...
