8 days ago: Well then how is prejudice formed, alot of prejudice is created by being taught that way, by some occurence that has lead the person to feel that way, in essence being unable to respect a persons genuine belief is not respecting their right to feel the way they do, even without logic. Sometimes beliefs come from a persons need to believe something, their feelings, and feelings are very often not logical.

9 days ago: See this seems like people are answering the wrong question, its not possible to respect everyones beliefs, but its very possible to respect their position, the way they got to believing it, why they believe it or that they have a right to believe it. Id like to stamp on Palin's head till the evil comes spilling right out but I respect her right to her beliefs, I understand WHY she believes what she believes, even if I think shes horrendously wrong, I respect her belief, whilst disagreeing wholeheartedly.

20 days ago: Assuming her son really has died then yeah obviously I feel sorry for her. Mark has a habit though of making his 'evil' characters have a reason for the way that they are or making you torn between hating them and not, Dan was bullied by his dad the way he bullied Nathan and now hes dying, he saved jamie and he loves jamie but he still killed keith. Ian lost his girlfriend who looked like peyton and became fixated through that loss and now we know the nanny lost her son and is willing to do anything to feel the mother son feeling agan. This one is the most complicated because think about it, most parents would do ANYTHING for their children and that includes killing, if shes deranged enough to feel now that jamie is hers then she is going to do anything to get him, its almost a twisted version of human nature.

1 month ago: If organs can be grown on their own, not in a body, then by all means grow cells and tissues. But no embryos, no fetuses, no babies, im pretty liberal minded but certain things I give reverence to an old way of thinking and thats just pushing it, i believe in a womans right to choose but the same time but personally, for myself, am against abortion, because for me it would feel like killing a baby, thats the same way I happen to feel about cloning, making a child to kill, even to save another is wrong.

1 month ago: If partners are sleeping together they are responsible for being honest, its recommended people have sti exams everytime they change sexual partners and ive personally requested my partner do this myself, yes its important we take control of knowing our own risks, but if you have such a deadly disease and you dont tell your partner you are taking a risk with their life and should they catch it you are basically commiting manslaughter or murder.

1 month ago: In the North of canada the provinces of the Yukon territory and Northwest territories are pretty much ruled by the natives, who are given extreme benefits as an apology for the americans taking their land. It has created racism against white people. We should not be punished for the sins of our fathers, nor should we be rewarded for their miseries, to be honest I dont even really agree with inheritance, it gives people an unfair boost of financial capital, they start off in life with more opportunities than others. Its almost as annoying as when I hear some kid say they are a third generation holocaust survivor, thats absolute rubbish, their grandparent survived the holocaust, they didnt survive anything and they are glombing onto misery they couldn't even imagine for attention.
