Fan Of The Year, Popper Of The Year and...?

Many of you may know me from doing Fan Of The Fortnight picks in the Fanpop Users spot (if not see the FAQ here) but you may not know that two annual events are on the horizon.

For the month of December, we bump it up a bit and all of the people featured on a Fan Of The Fortnight go on one of two very large picks, which I'm always appreciative of michael's help with, especially the latter of these two always large numbered Picks.

A quick note concerning Fan Of The Fortnight.

Status Report

So, some of you will have noticed a lack of FOTF picks and things of late and I just wanted to assure you that there are good reasons for this and that it isn't going away. I love doing it still and hope the Fanpop community does as well.

So What Happened?

To cut it short, I moved about a year ago now and have had shaky internet since going from mobile broadband via USB stick to nothing to occasional WiFi from Starbucks

What?! I have to wait until February?!

So Benjamin Linus stabbed the enigmatic Jacob, before his nemesis posing as Locke kicked him in to the fire as he warned that "they're coming".

Then, we had the assumed dead Juliet smack the hell out of a hydrogen bomb's nuclear device to destroy The Swan, to make sure that it's not there so that Kelvin can't bring Desmond there when he crashes due to the electromagnetism (which he wouldn't due to there being none), so he can never not push the button, so that Flight 815 never crashes.

Fanpop + Podcast = Fanpodcast?

You can be part of a podcast!

Some of you might recall me trying to get a podcast sorted out for the fans of Fanpop but it didn't work too well due to microphone problems and Skype's servers as well as timelines. So, I came up with a new plan, but first, some podcast basics.

Podcasting 101

- In order to record a podcast, you will need a microphone and a recording program. I recommend Audacity.
