My friend Thore's band Lucifer Was has been around since the lat 70's. Now there's a new album out: The Divine Tree. It is a strong album -- uncompromising riffs, mythic lyrics and part of an epic cycle of albums started decades ago.

Lucifer Was is a Nordic prog rock band strongly influenced by early seventies guitar, flute and vocal-oriented melodic progressive heavy rock.

Yes, Fanpop is a community. A year ago, it wasn't and I wasn't even sure it would ever evolve into one. Then, on my first day back, I got two props, two new fans and several comments. Now Fanpop is really a community, and it's so good to be back!

Summer I like walking barefoot in the cool, wet grass in the morning
I like walking barefoot in the hot sand at sunset
I like the feeling of cold water on my warm skin when I go swimming
I like havign late breakfast in the shade, overlooking the ocean
And I love the way people ease up when the weather is warm and it's time for vacation
