Hull 2-1 Crystal Palace
A superb late header from Hull captain Ian Ashbee kept his side in the hunt for automatic promotion and dented Crystal Palace's play-off hopes.

Mark Hudson hit the post for Palace early on, before Hull's Dean Windass smashed a free-kick against the bar.

Fraizer Campbell put Hull ahead on 18 minutes with a sharp finish from 20 yards, but Palace levelled after a defensive mix-up let Scott Sinclair in.

Ashbee converted Dean Marney's corner to settle it on 85 minutes.

Diaby fired Arsenal into an early lead

Liverpool set up another Champions League semi-final with Chelsea after a stunning late win over Arsenal.

Abou Diaby put Arsenal into an early lead but Sami Hyypia lost Phillipe Senderos to head an equaliser.

Fernando Torres looked to have settled it when he scored in the top corner, until a superb Theo Walcott run allowed Emmanuel Adebayor to tap in.

But Kolo Toure fouled Ryan Babel and Gerrard held his nerve from the spot, before Babel broke to add a fourth.

Hull City v Barnsley

Hull City moved into the Championship automatic promotion places as they claimed a 3-1 success against Barnsley at Oakwell.

Goals from Dean Marney, Ian Ashbee and Dean Windass secured The Tigers' victory as Phil Brown's men rose to second, while Barnsley remain four points above the drop zone.

Hull went close in the first minute when Lewin Nytanga's backpass had calamity written over it as his header wrong-footed goalkeeper Luke Steele; but Steve Foster saved his team-mates' blushes, clearing off the line.
