Fanpop is a site full of spots devoted to TV shows, cartoons, characters... all kinds of things. It attracts fans of these things from all over the world.
The Powerpuff Girls spot has 525 fans in it. These people are all fans of the Powerpuff Girls SHOW - The show which contains only THREE full-fledged Powerpuffs (Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup) and NONE of your original characters.
Fanart of original Powerpuffs is alright, but turning the spot into your own private Role-Playing spot is NOT okay. Please remember that this spot is for fans of the show and the original...

Ratings. They sound good in theory. What better way to know how good content is? Unfortunately, the reality is far, far different:
Trolls - We've all seen them. They rate things a one, just because they can.
Non-Raters - There is a LOT of awesome content on Fanpop that goes unrated.
Friends and Enemies - Friends get high ratings. Enemies get low ratings. It happens.
Rating Unfairly - People dish out 1-star ratings to images and videos containing characters/pairings they don't support.

Let's face it: This spot is really fun to add/do pop quiz questions in. It's fun to learn neat new facts and it's fun to surprise others with some new facts. But there are two problems that can make an otherwise awesome pop quiz into a dud!
Problem 1: Facts That... Aren't!
A lot of facts AREN'T actually a fact - especially on the internet! A lot of "strange facts" sites are FILLED with inaccurate or downright FALSE statements that are just commonly believed to be true. That doesn't make them actually true! Remember, anyone can say anything is "true" on the...

I recently saw something that made my blood boil. A Fanpop user criticizing another user for not crediting an image - and then advising that user on how to credit the image in an irresponsible and legally unsound way. Bad stuff there.
Let's forget for a moment that it's just plain rude to troll people's submissions and demand they add credit to them. Credit isn't required by this site and isn't going to be required any time soon, but some people seem to enjoy acting like it is. But like I said, we'll forget about that issue for now.
