Often cited as the second most popular holiday after Christmas, Halloween can certainly stake claim to being one of the "funnest" of all the holidays. Halloween videos are no exception. The quality and entertainment value of Halloween themed video content out there really is second only to the excellent range of movies, commercials, cartoons and sitcoms of Christmas.

Back when I was a kid watching Christmas specials on TV, Mrs. Claus was invariably portrayed as a sweet but dowdy older woman of slightly plump stature. She could cook a mean pie and reminded you of your Grandma. Of course, we loved her and so did Santa.

But did you ever wonder what Mrs. Claus might have looked like when she was younger? I mean, I assume she must've be smokin' (natch).

So why is it that so many of the classic holiday programs show us a Santa Claus surrounded by androgynous little elves and a matronly Mrs. Claus? I mean, it's cold up at the North...

Another 101 Christmas Videos to Watch and Enjoy (2007 Edition)

Another Holiday season is upon us and you know what that means: break out the egg nog, light up the tree, put up the stockings, take out a second mortgage for the credit card bill and fire up The Carpenter's Christmas album (turn it up to 11, will you?).

The 10 Hottest Sitcom Moms

For many of us, the sitcom was our first non-cartoon introduction to the adult world. My fondest sitcom memories were of watching the potent NBC comedy lineup of Diff'rent Strokes and Silver Spoons on Friday night.

And as ridiculous as it sounds, the sitcom was also one of my first introductions to the world of beautiful women.
