Εxcept the lie about "the five" they already had their differences. Elena couldn't tell him about the blood and she called Damon. Stefan can't be with her fully becuase of his ripper side and because "she is not that person.". So i think that except Stefan's lie there is more than that for them to break up. They are not like they are used to be. 6 months ago
