The thing is that having feelings for your maker does not automatically sire you to him. It is extremely rare to be sired, JP said that when she started to write that story line she chose Damon to be her sire because in her mind he was the only one that was right for the part. over a year ago

Don't forget that he killed Jenna and literally killed Elena, who only survived because her father sacrificed his life for her. So if anyone has a right to get ticked about who's seeing whom, it's Elena. over a year ago
