over a year ago: It may be considered lame, me posting links on my own fan site, but I figured, someone took the time to put it up, how many authors actually take the time to visit their own fan sites and post updates? lol. :) And I didn't have anything else to do between editing books.

over a year ago: I was watching them again tonight and in the episode, "burning house of love" tara comes over to pay sam a visit, and pets the dog on her way in, where she finds sam, cursing while trying to fix a table. so WTF? so there's another instance of him and the dog co-existing. I guess I'll find out when the next episode airs tonight.

over a year ago: okay, I have been re-watching the episodes, and there is an episode where Sam pets the dog, so HTF is he the dog? HBO is airing a bunch of episodes back to back on different nights. I saw one tonight where Sam is sitting there outside, and the dog comes up, and he pets it. so what the hell? If he's the dog, that's a big mistake.
I haven't read the books, so when Sam was rolling around in the dead girl's bed, I figured him for the strangler.
so yah, I had a WTF moment at the end. Someone explain to me how he can pet the dog and be the dog also though.

over a year ago: so Sam's the Dog? WTF? Is sam also the one strangling women, or did I get that one wrong also? I'm still sayin Bill though.

over a year ago: I say no, because he is wrong in a way. Think about it. Dexter kills, by his own admittance, not because the people are bad, but because he has this deep insatiable urge to kill. It is only because of Harry's guidance that he only kills bad people. He has made that a part of his routine. Dexter is not necessarily a good guy, even though most of us would stand by his side, and maybe help him do what he does. And the people who were all saying good things about him? They say that, but if they found out, I think few of them would still support him. in the end they would be scared.
But I'll say no, it doesn't bother me that they suggest that he's morally wrong. What he does doesn't come from a good place. It isn't from an urge to do right. Were that the case, I'd say maybe it was morally right.
I'm still behind him though. Go Dex!

over a year ago: Coming into this conversation late, I'm going to say Bill. The guy at the bar is a killer. Well, then again, bill has probably killed his fair share. But Bill wouldn't hurt her, I don't think. The other guy would.
I mean think about it, if you had to choose between Ted Bundy or Bill?

over a year ago: I think a good deal of people, creative people especially, can relate to Dexter. It's more a sense of feeling like you can't relate to most people than anything though. Not necessarily that you want to kill people. Well, not all the time... lol

over a year ago: That's twisted and awesome at the same time. I like it.

over a year ago: When I first heard that he was doing this show, after having seen all of six feet under, I had to watch it. But I was blown away at the difference in Characters. For a second there in that first episode, I was like, "That's him?" But I've been hooked since the first episode. I even got the books. Can't wait for season 3. I'd say Dexter is definitely a deeper and more interesting character than David.
