Although Lady Gaga in heavily considered the big winner Tuesday with 13 nominations for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards (airing September 12), Justin Bieber also received some love in the Best New Artist category.
So what was the "Baby" singer's response to all of the attention? Justin shared his thoughts in a new post on his Twitter page:

Selena Gomez has been talking about her best buddy Justin Bieber and discussing just who is in her group of friends this week.
Speaking to Now Selena made herself the envy of a million girls the world over by saying, "Justin Bieber's one of my best friends".
Before going on to add,
"He's very sweeet, but I have healthy balance of industry friends and friends from the third grade. To them, I'm the girl I've always been."

Justin Bieber is having the best week ever!
First there was a movie and a book, now Variety’s Power of Youth has picked the 16-year-old musician to honor for his work with Pencils of Promise.
Variety’s 2010 Power of Youth event, which will take place on October 24th this year, reaches out to the 25-and-under entertainment community, encouraging them to support philanthropic and charitable causes, and getting them to use their positions to encourage fans to do the same. Justin Bieber will release an illustrated memoir entitled Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story. OMG! This is a huge day for Justin Bieber, you guys! Not only did news of his memoir come out today, but also his big 3D movie deal! Justin tweeted, “Next Valentine’s we r coming with a major 3D Movie telling the story with an Oscar winning director and also filmin the tour at MSG in NYC!!” It’ll just be like seeing Justin in real life! We can’t even imagine what the movie’s going to be like. We’re so excited for Justin and wish him a big congratulations from BOP and TIGER BEAT!
