So last night, August the 2nd/3rd, depending on where you were, I witnessed a phenomenon I have not seen on the internet for quite some time, I've seen glimmers of it, hints and comments, but I've not had it so blatantly thrust in my face until last night. I am, of course, talking about unity. No, not unity against a 'common enemy' or a 'troll' as many people on the internet assume is unity, but genuine "I can just click something to make someone feel a little better" kind of unity.

Michael's Rule:
Always put any call to action in the first line of an e-mail message.
Michael's Rule, stated above, is one of the more universal aphorisms that have been developed in our digital age, given that it refers specifically to electronic mail messages. But e-mail is so omnipresent in 21st century culture that there can be no question that Michael's Rule belongs in the pantheon of great aphorisms.
Of course, Michael's Rule falls into the cautionary or instructive category of aphorisms, which advise people of proper conduct,...

Okay, for the past two months I have steadily grown addicted to this website. Maybe it's all the free time I have these days, or maybe it's just I have an addictive personaily. It could of course be that this website is pure brilliance and I constantly think about it. Does that make me sad? No way! Because I can bet I'm not the only one. So here's a checklist of how to know when you've crossed the line between fanpop-addict, and totally-crazy. :)
1. You form an opinion on something and think "I'm going to immediately make a pick about this"...and then the rest of your plan for...
