Damon likes Elena as a vampire because she is stronger and more powerful as a woman. Stefan wants her to have the cure so that she won't love Damon anymore and will get back with him. If he wasn't so stupid he would know that the Sire Bond controls what you do not how you feel. He is going to be disappointed to find out she just isn't in love with him anymore. Damon does love Elena and he will get the cure for her just like he said he will, he just wants her to still be the way she is now. I don't think her turning human again will make her any different. 3 months ago

Sorry but Damon never gave up on her. He was selfless and sent Stefan down to help Elena get the cure because he wants her to be happy, even though he wants her to be a vampire, he puts her wants and needs first. Stefan wants her to be human because he couldnt love her as a vampire and is hoping once human she'll return to him. Damon's "fine with her either way" (direct quote) and will always give her whatever she needs to be happy, even if its in direct conflict to what HE wants. Hence why Damon truly loves Elena selflessly. 3 months ago

He wants it more than anythingin the world... But after 150 years of having his heart broken & beeing pushed away he has a tough time beliving that although Elena is sired to him, her feelings toward him are real... And if they take the cure together & she says she doesn't love him, there will be no "switch off" for his pain... I:m pretty Sure Elena knows it & she won't give up on him! 3 months ago

I feel like Delena’s relationship is really more sexual than anything else. Since really so far that is all they have shown. Nothing about DE is true love or passion its the opposite its just like two horny vampires. There is no real emotion there, there is no real connection.

He hasn't used Elena. He didn't even know she was sired to him. And if you think DE is only sexual, I suggest you watch season 1, 2 and 3 again. I'm sure we'll get more scenes that will show a DE relationship isn't only "lust", like you like to argue :) 5 months ago
