Scott Maslen claims kissing 'EastEnders' co-star Samantha Janus is like kissing his sister.

The soap heartthrob plays Albert Square bad boy Jack Branning, who is about to have an affair with Ronnie Mitchell, played by his old friend Samantha.

Scott told Britain's Soaplife magazine: "I've known Sam since I was 16 and I'm godparent to her kids. When we kiss it's going to be like kissing my sister!"

Biography of Shannen doherty

Shannen Doherty was born in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, on April 12, 1971 to parents Tom and Rosa. Her father worked in a bank while her mother owned a beauty parlor. She has an older brother named Sean. In 1978 at the tender age of seven, she and her family moved to Los Angeles, where her father started a West Coast branch of the family transportation business. Shannen has always been close to her family, who disciplined her from a young age. She knew she wanted to pursue an acting career when she made her acting debut at age ten, with a role on the series "Father Murphy" (1981).

Couldn't reach an agreement with the producers of "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990) regarding specifics of her participation in the series finale so using edits and digital effects they removed her entirely from the next to last episode retrospective. An hour long special which included virtually every other actor in show's history.

Afterlife and legacy

After Prue's death, in the 5th season episode "Cat house" you see only her back. The program was not allowed to show Doherty's face. According to Penny in the episode following Prue's death, Prue was still adjusting to being in the afterlife. Even after a few years, Prue's death still greatly affected Phoebe and Piper, and demons such as Barbas often used this chink in their armour to tease and aggravate them.
