Hello Fanpoppers. By now you may have noticed a nifty new feature was rolled out this afternoon. It's the Fanpop Pop Quiz, a way to test your knowledge of all sorts of arcane trivia from movies, to music to hamsters.

Before diving into the details of the game, I want to send out a hearty THANKS to the Fanpop team. In particular, a big prop to Michael who put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this feature.

Um, ok so maybe these features aren't THAT secret...
There are a lot of features on Fanpop. Some are well known and others are less well known (there are also a ton of others we *want* to do, but that's for another conversation). Today I thought I would highlight a few of the less-well-known features for you.

Why? Because, dammit, we spent time on these features! Sure picks and images might be sexier, but these are the runts of the proverbial Fanpop-litter and they need some time in the spotlight too.

Without a doubt Heroes was one of the huge breakout hits of the 2006/07 television season. The show almost cured me of my Lost addiction (at the very least it made up for Lost's lengthy mid-season hiatus).

One of the best aspects of Heroes was the series' creators willingness to "play for keeps". More specifically this meant that the stakes in the story were high. Characters would be sacrificed to propel the story along. Some would die tragically others might be "collateral damage".
