14 hours ago: Gag. I really do not like Twilight. Read the books, got bored so badly. Urgh, and the fact that they moved the release of that film UP by three weeks just means I need to buy ear plugs sooner to block out all the fan girly squeals over that vampire guy. *grumble mutter grumble*

The person below me is extremely upset over the postponement of the Half Blood Prince film.

5 days ago: So as many of you have already heard, or will hear now, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has been tragically postponed until July 17, 2009. Oh and you want to know the reason? Well take a look right here at this wonderful paragraph or two pulled straight from Yahoo.

The move was made to take advantage of an open weekend in Hollywood's busy summer season, said Alan Horn, Warner Bros. president and chief operating officer. The film had been on schedule, and the change was not due to any production snags, he said.

"The picture is completely, absolutely, 100 percent on schedule, on time. There were no delays," Horn told The Associated Press. "I've seen the movie. It is fabulous. We would have been perfectly able to have it out in November."



So the reason behind the postponement? More box office sales. That's right. Oh sure the movie's all set to go, but let's make those rabid, desperate Harry Potter fans wait for practially another year for their next installment in the film franchise. This completely and utterly disgusts me. Please post your rants, various plans of revenge onl WB execs, and other various forms of unhappiness (or possibly happiness) on this extremely depressing news. Now if you'll excuse me, I must go crawl into a corner and huddle in a fetal position while I go through Harry Potter withdrawal.

20 days ago: supposedly they've added an attack on the weasley household. If you look closely at the screencaps from Mugglenet, you can clearly see that Harry and Ginny are in the same environment, with Harry presumedly running towards her to protect her. Also, you can see a glimpse of someone that looks very much like Fenrir. Considering how Bill and Fleur have been cut out and Arthur will be the one attacked by Fenrir instead of Bill, it makes perfect sense that this is the added scene by Yates to add to the action of the film and to build-up the relationship between H/G more than it was in the book. Just my two cents =)
