Many fans have been looking for the same special locket as worn by the mermaids on the show & purchased a cheap made in China locket manufactured for the show (as shown above in the plastic packaging) Most girls were very deceived by the low quality of the locket.
Some very persuasive fans contacted the jewelry artist Blue Crockatt from Canada known for her beautiful handmade sterling silver pieces.

The girls in the show wear it with a Red Coral (Rikki), White Moonstone (Emma) and Blue tiger-Eye (Cleo)! So why do the big manufacturers only offer color-changing moodstone? Easier for them to sell only one type and also those plastic cabs are very cheap.
