“Now I’m Committed”: A Numbers synopsis of Broken

Detox scene:
perfect music...and i LOVE the shots of light and dark coming and going and the change in occipity and zoom....it was so NON housey but a perfect way to do ACTUAL detox in a house way, if that makes sense. The only dialogue was interesting...id have liked better if he were just pounding on the door and we couldn’t hear him...just stick with the music but that was fine.

Last season was the roughest yet for Dr. Gregory House. His closest colleague, Wilson, quit Princeton-Plainsboro, one of his protégés, Kutner, killed himself, and House’s abusive father died after a long estrangement. Capping it off, the addicted doc’s steamy sexual affair with boss Cuddy turned out to be a mere hallucination- a side effect of his Vicodin habit- and the season ended with House limping his way into a mental institution.

-    If having sex makes you sleep like a baby

I write scenes not storylines: A writers guide to better theatrics

So you’ve got a pen in your hand?…A keyboard at your fingertips? Maybe you already know what you’ll write about, maybe you don’t. But one thing is for sure…THAT WILL CHANGE

What are the things that run through your head as you begin to write?
Storyline? Sure
Dialogue? Yeah
Drama? OH YEAH

But you’re thinking as a whole. I’ve found my best writing comes from scenes of description, intermittent and FULL of excitement, whether in a living or inanimate object.
