Major Spoilers Ahead

Now, the other parts of SSY, I don't really hear any praise for, but everyone praises this particular part. This is a story driven show, the characters don't matter, they say. I disagree, it isn't as story driven as many make it out to be. The major world building or story elements the show does have is very much linked to the show's characters. For instance, Ogres in this show isn't really used until the middle of the final arc story-wise, and most of the focus is on how the characters handle them. The adults are terrified of children and kill several because they fear that the children would either become an ogre or karmic demon(as directly stated in Maria's letter and their actions heavily implying it). The focus of this world building is on the character's motives. However, the town itself is irredeemable, they killed children for simply not being good enough, which wouldn't have threatened their lives(i.e the 5th wheel of the group and almost Saki). They destroyed villages of monster rats for little to no reasons(which was stated by Squealer the reason he rebelled) and ended the series by giving Squealer the most painful endless death...

A very very old story I wrote several years ago. Only just now, have I finally gained the courage to post it here. My accuracy of how I portrayed a lot of what I wrote may or may not be that much but it was written with how I perceived things. I understand interpretations are not always correct but I really hope this was as close as possible to maybe being at least a little. Also the title might not be too fitting.... Well despite that I hope you like it anyways.

---------------------------------------------

The passing of days. The passing hours. The minutes. The seconds. Time drudges on as the heart slowly beats growing fonder. Longing for the one who was furthest away. This was how it felt to Rangiku. Unable to see the face of the one she loves made it painful at times but, her heart grew ever fonder of him.

Counting each passing second, staring off into distance. Wondering. Just wondering. Where could he have run off this time? Gin often disappeared without a word. Here for a moment. Gone the next. A mystery that left her wondering with many curious questions. He never spoke of where he was going. If she so managed to get just one...

So whenever I hear someone describe something that is weird as, “Wow, what kind of drugs were they taking when they made this”, I just groan. I always hated the whole criticism of how something weird must be related to drugs or any other illegal substance, and that there is nothing creative or thought provoking into the madness. Now, is there anything thought provoking about Katamari Damacy? …. Eeeeehhh.
So Katamari Damacy is not really a drug trip, but more of a… case of being Japanese. After the King of All Cosmos (Yes, that’s his name) destroys all the stars in the sky after a drunken binge, he tasks his son, The Prince, to take a ball known as a Katamari to earth and roll up things on earth to create new stars in the sky. It’s a very, very simple game. Hell, if not for the challenge, it would be less of a game and more of a digital toy. But man, for a simple idea, it works super well and it becomes an addictive experience. The game is very simple. Start out as a small ball and roll things up. If there is something bigger than you, you cannot roll it up, at least not yet. So what you do is continue to roll up smaller things...

Boy, I sure am good at lying to everyone when I say I am not that big into FPS games. Okay, now, granted, this can technically not be a first person shooter game. First person, yes. Shooter, debatable. You can go through the entire game without firing a bullet. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s talk about another game dead in the water thanks to EA, Mirror’s Edge.
Taking place in an oppressed city where the media says what it wants and people can’t think for themselves, a group of rebels known as Runners fight back against the military control. One of these Runners, Faith, is tasked with saving her sister from being framed for the murder of a powerful individual all while outrunning the police and military officers that chase her through the pure white city. And man, for a game that has very little color, these visuals are gorgeous. They really make all other colors like reds and oranges stand out in the white city and it’s so nice to look at visually. Unlike the cutscenes. I will say, these do make for some good Esurance commercials, but nothing more than that. Thankfully, the gameplay has a ton of variety. A lot of the game...

So, open world games… Yeah. A problem I have with most of them is that they just make a big world and think that that will do, but the problem is that they are big worlds with nothing interesting to explore and nothing fun to do. Even something small can make going through the open world environment more fun. And a simple but very effective example of this is the game, Sleeping Dogs.
Part of the unheard of True Crime franchise, Sleeping Dogs follows a hard boiled Hong Kong police officer as he infiltrates a Chinese Triad gang in order to get closer to the criminal underworld of the city. And it is all just some classic kung-fu goodness. The game has your choices of hand to hand combat or gun combat. The gun combat is nothing special. Just duck, wait, and shoot. The usual in these kinds of games. But then, you get to the melee combat, and suddenly, the combat goes from a zero to a ten really damn fast. You can just run down the street and kick a person a mile down the pavement, all while doing insane combos and finisher moves to small time thugs (Or pedestrians, but what kind of cop are you). The driving is real damn fun, especially when in...

"NORTH AND SOUTH: BOOK II" (1986) - EPISODE FOUR "April-November 1864" Commentary

Episode Four of the 1986 miniseries, "NORTH AND SOUTH: BOOK 2" picked up at least seven to eight months after Episode Three left off. The miniseries arrived at a point in which the Civil War began to embark upon its last year. And yet, the miniseries itself had reached its mid point. I found it odd that producer David Wolper, director Kevin Reynolds and the production’s screenwriters would portray the war’s last year (in reality, eleven months) within three episodes. Oh well.

The episode began with a strong sequence that featured George Hazard's capture by John Mosby’s Rangers, while he and his men were transporting artillery guns and units to the front. The episode would return to George’s travails as a prisoner of war at Libby Prison in two more sequences. This first half hour also featured the beginning of Charles Main’s affair with Augusta, Billy Hazard’s return to the Sharpshooters’ regiment and the Battle of the Wilderness. Episode Four also portrayed the marriage woes of Ashton and James Huntoon, along with Elkhannah Bent’s...

Elijah Jones 2019 New Album
NEW ALBUM - And More?

It's one of those days. Not much has been released over the past year about a new upcoming album by Jones. If Jones were to have an album we surely would have heard something by now. Which lead us to believe that Jones may not have an album in 2019. At least none that we have heard of yet. That was until Elijah Jones's YouTube channel blew up in hearts over Valentines Weekend. A post was released and a link to Subscribers shared some interesting photos sparking the idea that 2019 may be a good year for subscribers as a new album may possibly be on the rise for the 2019 year. Those photos can be viewed below.

Apart from a new album, recently an article was published stating in large letters that the "Kinlee And Elijah" trend - now long overdue and updated to just Elijah Jones - will be promoting Naughty Dogs upcoming hit "The last Of Us Part 2" Back in late 2016 Jones expressed before he started his "Forgive To forget" Album that something much larger and bigger is just past the sunset. it has now already been two and a half years since than and Sony is looking big for this year meaning it's high rise for Elijah. Now...

Hi everyone,
So I'm sharing another picture article about my big passion - DIYs and designing. Recently I decided that I'm already too old for having all that colorful mess around me, soft toys attached to walls, bright pictures from movies with quotes, 132556979 dreamcatchers, so for a while it was very minimal, framed quotes, only black, white and yellow. But a bit more than a week ago I got another creativity attack, hung my rope with colorful pictures back on and spent two weekends making dreamcatchers without breaks (typical me).
So in first picture you can see my minimalist wall, Audrey Hepburn, quotes. Actually I like it pretty much, it's somehow classy and those quotes inspire me. But minimalism and me doesn't match together at all, I need colors, I need meaningful things around me, so here are my two newest creations - Chakras dreamcatchers, those are very meaningful and have huge protection power. I wanted to make them for so long, I have always loved things like that - yoga, meditations, Chakras, healing. I even have DIY mala beads (picture right under Chakra dreamcatchers). "Eat Pray Love" really has had some inspirational influence on me. 😄 And now my...

Four-year-old Jeremy Triantafilo was playing in front of his home when a neighbor’s dog came up and bit him and pulled him off his bike. The first to come to his rescue was the family cat, Tara, who body-slammed the dog, followed closely by Erica Triantafilo. Tara is one brave cat! Erica tried to chase the dog off, and she was bitten, too.

Jeremy was taken to a hospital where he received ten stitches. The original video, which was re-edited from several security cameras, was viewed 5 million times on YouTube in less than two days, before it was replaced with a version that does not show Jeremy’s raw wounds. The family appeared on The Today Show this morning.

The heroics displayed by Tara, a stray adopted by the family six years ago, surprised everyone.

“Every once in a while she puts our dog back into her place, but for the most part, she’s just the most mellow cat you’ve ever met,” Erica Triantafilo said. “All our boys love her and pick on her occasionally. She just loves them right back anyway.”

So let’s just get this out of the way while there is still time. I love the Persona franchise. I was planning on doing a big project with it, but now isn’t the right time, so… later. But for now, let’s talk about the first of a few Persona games that will be appearing on the list. And what better game to talk about than one that mashes both of my loves into one. Persona and Fighting games. It’s Persona 4 Arena Ultimax baby!
The story is a follow up to Arena, the first one, which I have not played (oops). It involves an event known as the P1 Climax, a fighting tournament that is created by the new villain of the game in order to turn the world into Shadows or something. I don’t know, it’s a fighting game, the plot is dumb, let’s have an actual waifu war instead of just talking in the comments like babies. The game is surprisingly deep with its fighting. You got some basic attacks here and there, but then you can mix it up with using Persona skills. You can knock out your enemies Persona for the rest of the match, but if you aren’t careful, they can do the same to you and you can be really screwed. They also have the chance to...

So remember when I said I am not the biggest fan of FPS games? Well, here we have another game from an FPS franchise. Clearly, I am a hack fraud when I say things. Anyway, let’s talk about Far Cry 3.
When it comes to discussing the Far Cry franchise, a franchise I and many people didn’t get into until they played 3, many people considered the third game to be the best one… And yeah, it was. Far Cry 3 follows Jason, your typical douchebag from California who makes vlog videos and does diss tracks on other Youtubers because they mocked his rich lifestyle or something like that, and his friends go to an island to party, only to get captured by pirates and now Jason is tasked with saving his friends and stopping the pirates trafficking market. I joke, of course, but the writing is actually really strong in this game. Jason isn’t just some typical douchebag rich kid, he’s a douchebag rich kid who’s gotta deal with all this shit that is going down. His brother is dead, his friends are probably dead for all he knows, and he’s got pirates hunting him while everyone is calling him their savior when he just wants to leave. Unlike some...

So remember back when I reviewed Fable II that I liked both of the first Fable games and how I am not a true L337 Gamer as a result? Well, this is the other of the two Fable games, Fable the first, or Fable: The Lost Chapters, as I have never played the original Fable, or Anniversary for that matter.
Fable: The Lost Chapters has a story as unoriginal as the sequel. A young boy’s village is burned down and he goes to train and become a hero in a world where people need heroes to do things. As he goes about these tasks, he later gets involved with a quest that involves immortal deities, swords of righteous power, walking suits of armor, and weird voice acting. I love it a lot. This was one of the games I had when I started to collect video games eight years ago, and now the library can barely fit onto one shelf. Fable has a very simple world for you to explore, yet one that is so nice to look at even in sixth generation console graphics that I have fun going through them. From the nice bustling towns of Albion to the calm autumn forests to the quiet snowy landscapes, these environments are always really nice. I remember trying real hard as a...

An Irish Adventure
A week after my first day of school, my parents and I went on a vacation to Ireland to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and to visit some relatives there. We rode a cruise ship from Albert Dock, which crossed the River Mersey and the Irish Sea before stopping in Dublin. After getting off the ship, my aunt, uncle, and cousin Liam met us outside the pier, and we stayed in their house for the entire trip. The highlights of it were visiting Blarney Castle and kissing the Stone, shopping in Cork City, and taking lots of photos with wacky poses in Giant's Causeway. I even collected shamrocks during our tours and brought them back home with me. In the end, it was a wonderful experience for all of us.

So let’s talk about Grand Theft Auto… Okay, this is not gonna be easy to discuss. I never really enjoyed the gameplay of IV or even V. I think it was too real, if that makes any sense. It felt weighted down, and just kinda dull for me. I like the characters, I like the story, and I like the witty humor and satire of the modern world, but man, was the gameplay not doing it for me. But then I went back and tired out some older GTA games from the past, and yeah, this is definitely what I prefered. And let’s start with one of my favorites, Vice City.
The story is simple if you watched Scarface or any classic crime film. Gangster Tommy Vercetti gets involved in a drug deal gone really bad and is left to take over Vice City, totally not Miami, and start up his own drug empire through threats, drug deals, and other such things. Clearly not the hero in this story, but an interesting character nonetheless. And man, is this game stylish. Sure, the graphics aren’t at the quality that Rockstar has nowadays with their realistic horse testical physics, but I really like this setting. The neon lights of Vice City that glow throughout the streets and...

(Apologies for the ugly card at the top, I was rushed for time when making this one)
So after I dipped my toes into the vast lake of a franchise with SoulCalibur V, I decided to try out other games. II was good, but never got to play much of it, IV was eh, and we never talk about Legends. Pretend that doesn’t exist. And then, announcement of SoulCalibur VI comes out, and everybody gets hyped. We see Mitsurugi and Ivy in beautiful 4k resolution, and motherfucking Geralt from Witcher, but that ain’t what interested me. When I saw character creator Kirby, and the chance for making the dumbest fucking things ever… I knew I needed this in my life.
Being the very first game I ever bought at full retail price in my entire life, I had gotten far deeper into the fighting game craze at this point and was more than ready to try out a game online. Long story short, I fucking sucked. I got my ass kicked by a majority of people I go up against online. But it’s fine, cause SoulCalibur VI probably has the most meat out of any of the games before, and not just in online mode. The other modes allow you to go through a major story with a ton of...

She said, "That's an awesome name for a rock band. Do you play heavy metal?" He said, "No, we don't play heavy metal." She asked, "Do you like heavy metal?" He said, "I like it okay, but Peter, our bassist, doesn't like it. He thinks it's too loud." She said, "I like heavy metal and classic rock." John said, "I'm all about classic rock." Caryn said, "Yeah. Do you happen to be a Beatles fan?" He said, "I love the Beatles. My father introduced me to them after John Lennon's untimely death. I got into music because of that, and my career was forever sealed." She said, "My parents introduced me to them when I was young. I was hooked ever since." TRAYVON MARTIN WILL RECEIVE A POSTHUMOUS BACHELORS DEGREE FROM FLORIDA MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY
(From February 5th, 2017- on the 5 year anniversary of Trayvon Martin’s tragic Murder)

I am so glad to hear this good news!
Trayvon Martin's death really touched my heart in a very profound way!
My Heartfelt Congratulations as well as my sustained Condolences to the Entire Trayvon Martin
Family!
I will probably remember him forever! How many Asian Indian people living either in the U.S/ Europe or in India know who Trayvon Martin was?
Doesn't anyone care about the plight of Black Americans in this country?
I strongly believe that any responses received will truly promote a healthy discussion on race!
I would like to submit this as a Blog,
Because frankly speaking I am a bit disgusted with our Asian Indian Community!
I strongly feel that a lot more needs to be done to further the Construction of healthy race relations in this Country.

Oh boy, this is a classic gem I’ve been waiting to discuss… again… for the fourth time in a row now. It’s no secret that I love Platinum. Anarchy Reigns was the first Platinum game on this list, and the rest of them are only gonna get better from here. And let’s talk about their first game, and while not a financial success, still a classic on the Wii, Madworld.
Madworld follows angry biker Jack Cayman, as he and his trustworthy chainsaw arm, go through the crazed gameshow known as Death Watch in order to take out the competition and become the champion of Death Watch. The game is always in this hard cel-shaded black and white art style, with the only color in the entire game being hard crimson red from the blood of all of the enemies. The game is very simple. Go through a single level in the area, try to rack up as many points as the game desires, each level increasing in score. Achieve this score by doing flashy kills, like shoving more sharp objects into enemies before killing them or throwing them into stage hazards. You get bonus points for killing a mini-boss in the level, like a giant bull with a chainsaw or a grim reaper on...

As asteriamalfoy recently reported on the club wall, it appears that Moana will soon become the newest member of the Disney Princess lineup. The club's reception to the news is a mixed bag, which is the latest example of how the general Fanpop opinion (namely, this club's opinion) doesn't always match that of the internet. It's interesting why that is, and I will attempt to find the reason here.

Before going forward, be aware that everything that I consider an "opinion" of Fanpop and/or the internet is a generalization. True, there are some users on both this website and the rest of the worldwide web who are in their respective minorities. This is merely a breakdown of how I see it and my attempt to get to the root of the issue -- why is Moana beloved in some places, but not in others? Time to find out.

The Difference of Opinion
I find that on Youtube, Disney-related sites (such as "Oh My Disney"), and other sites (Buzzfeed and the like), Moana is a well-liked character. The common reasons people like her from what I've seen are:

Walt Disney Animation.
Hello fellow Disney Fans.

Now, as you all know, I love Disney Animation. I love to watch the movies, hear the songs and look at the characters. But one thing I really love is watching the animation in slow motion. It gives a great insight to how much work the animators puts into their work. It's facinating to me to watch a scene or a sequence in slow motion, as then I get more details the next time I see the movies.
Now, you all know how much I LOVE The Little Mermaid. My favorite movie of all-time. Ever since I discovered to to make gifs, I have made many gifs from various Disney Classics, but most from Mermaid. So, one day I though "Why not make some gifs in slow motion and make an article about it." So here it is. But it is not done yet, as there are MANY gifs I want to make in slow motion. So you better keep checking this article if this sounds like something you would want to follow as well.

Introduction
The foursome and the Beatles have been relaxing inside the dorm as the weekend started. Nicholas was playing his guitar when something popped out of his head. He told the others, "Mates, would you like me to tell you about me early life?" Rosie replied, "Definitely, buddy! We'd love to." George added, "Here, here!" Nicholas said, "Jolly good! There will be plenty of touching moments here, so please have a box of tissues ready." "All right. Here it is." Replied Paul as he held the tissue box. And with that, Nicholas commenced his story.

The Birth of Nicholas
I was born on February 24, 1998. My parents named me after my great-grandfather, who was a famous local musician during his time. I was quite a calm baby, and I didn't cry much even while we were in public places. From the moment of my birth, the background was filled with Beatles songs. My mother once made a comment that when I get older, I would resemble George the most. This comment proved to be prophetic, which we will see as the rest of my story unfolds...

Well, many of you wouldn't probably know me, but don't worried, I'm just an old and back member here. But however. I'm just decided to made this to show my top 5 favorite couples, and it's only canon, so fanon couples wouldn't be listed here ok let's star:

5. Owen and Izzy
I just don't even know why I ship those two, but I love how adorable they were and their relationship was the most zest and crazy of all the couples.

4. Gwen and Trent
Yeah, the tipical Gwent pairing, they used to be my favorite couple, but after all the trouple caused in season 2, they moved down of my list, but I still love them more than I love every couple.

3. Dakota and Sam
Out of the other two, they are the most unpopular and the most underrated couple, and I know the writters messed up of putting Dakota as a monster and well, but what I love about this couple is that they built it perfectly and their pacing was good and not rushed.

2. Jasmine and Shawn

Remember back when I talked about Lollipop Chainsaw and said that it was the most decisive game from Grasshopper before another game. Well, this is the now most decisive. Travis Strikes Again, a spin off, not No More Heroes 3, that people either like or hate. And in case it wasn’t super obvious, I love this game
I feel like it is important to remember that this game is a spin-off and not a main series game, and yet everyone still thinks this is NMH3 and a bad continuation. If this game spits on the legacy of the franchise, then Smash Bros, Pokemon Snap, and the entire Persona franchise are complete bastardizations of the true franchises. But that little rant out of the way, let’s talk about the game. Set seven years after the second game, Travis is attacked by Badman, father of Bad Girl, and the two are sucked into a game console known as the Death Drive MKII. Learning that the console grants the wishes of whoever collects all six Death Drive games, the two go through the games in order to collect them all and make their wishes come true. The game is unlike anything else in the franchise, playing from a top down perspective instead of the...

It was a sunny, warm day at the park. A girl named Alice was there relaxing and sitting against a tree. She thought about how tired she was, and wanted to go on an adventure of some sort.

Then all of a sudden, she saw a man in a black suit, black pants, white gloves and he had bunny ears. He was running away. Alice was confused and questioned herself "Why on Earth is there a guy with bunny ears?! And why is he in such a hurry?. She chased after him and yelled "Wait who are you?! Why are you running? But he didn't respond and ran towards a big rabbit hole in the ground. Alice stopped and got a bit scared. "I may not know how deep this hole is, but I know that I must follow him" she said to herself. So with that, she fell in.

Alice landed on the ground and found herself in a room with a lot of doors and a table. She didn't know where he had gone, but then she heard one of the doors shut. It was small. She knew she couldn't get in because she was too big. Then she turned around and realized that there was something on the table. She saw a key, a cookie, and there was a note saying "Eat Me". So she ate it and all of a sudden, she shrank. "Now I'll be able to...

Am I the only one I know?
Waging my wars behind my face, and above my throat?
Shadows will scream that I'm alone

I-I-I I've got a migraine
And my pain will range from up, down, and sideways
Thank God it's Friday
'Cause Fridays will always be better than Sunday's, 'cause Sunday's are my suicide days
I don't know why they always seem so dismal
Thunderstorms, clouds, snow and a slight drizzle
Wether it's the weather or the ledges by my bed
Sometimes death seems better than the migraine in my head
Let it be said what the headache represents
It's me defending in suspense
It's me suspended in a defenseless test
Being tested by a ruthless examiner
That's represented best by my depressing thoughts
I do not have writers block
My writer just hates the clock
It will not let me sleep, I guess I'll sleep when I'm dead
And sometimes death seems better than the migraine in my head

Chapter 6°
Way Too Good At Goodbyes°

"Why don't you give her paper back?" Someone said from across the room, everyone looked up towards the front, there Hayden was, his arms crossed over his chest. He looked annoyed. Annabelle's eyes widened for a moment before she glared at him.

"Stay in your place." She hissed. Hayden walked towards her, the room was dead silent, they were eye level with each other. Hayden glared.

"Don't you have any better things to do than pick on people?" He growled, Annabelle's mouth dropped a bit as she sputtered for a comeback. Never had anyone in their grade stood up to her, Hayden grabbed Chloe's paper and gave it back to Chloe who was in the same amount of shock as everyone else. Before Annabelle could say anything, the teacher walked in.

"Come on class, take your seats... Uh, new kid, Hayden Winston? Yeah, sit next to Chloe, please." The teacher said in the most monotone voice ever. Annabelle was steaming as she walked to her seat and began to crumple a piece of paper. Hayden sat down in the seat next to Chloe, who couldn't help but stare at him.

Chapter 5°
This Is Not An Introduction°

Logan had apologized to her for missing her birthday, and she had said it was fine. But inside, it had hurt, no one had remembered but... Weeks had passed, time to get over it. Right? She hadn't gotten on her account in a while, she wasn't trying to become distant, but, why did she feel so alone? Snapping out of her thoughts, she looked up at her school, she could already feel dread building up inside her. Pulling up her hoodie, she stepped onto the grass and walked across the courtyard to where they let her grade in. Freshman, to be exact. Bright yellow and orange leaves were scattered on the ground, most of them had shriveled up and died, deep inside she could relate. Her depression seemed to be getting worse everyday, some days, however, weren't always as bad as the others. Those other days it was like a constant pressure was being forced down on her, like she was drowning and she couldn't swim up, only deeper into the dark and murky waters, not enough air in her lungs, everyone else could breathe just fine.

Dead Man Walking

You're an idiot, I hope you know that.

Little Miss Starry Skies

Awww, but I'm a FUN idiot and you know it.

Logan rolled his eyes, but a small smile f formed on his face. Starry, as she told him to call her, was dumb but she managed to put a smile on his face. Something he wasn't used to anymore. Sure, there were a few idiots at school that managed to get a laugh out of him, mostly because of their stupidity, but that's not the point. He turned his computer off for the morning, Starry had forgotten to do her Spanish homework that night and had to abruptly leave to finish it before having to head off to catch the bus. She had seemed more frantic than usual, Logan couldn't help but wonder if something was wrong. He shrugged it off as soon as the thought crossed his mind. Going on to Spotify through his phone, he turned on his music, closing his eyes for just a moment just to get lost in his world.

Chapter 3°
Unreal Reality°

She dropped her bag on the dirt road, pushing aside the tall plants. In the distance, she could the water rushing, the sound was calming as she kept walking until she came across to a lake. The sun was starting to set, causing the water to glimmer ever so slightly. Like tiny gems in the water. Putting in her headphones, she turned on her music, laid down, and closed her eyes. Lost in her own little world.

Buzz... Buzz...

Chloe slowly opened her eyes, the once beautiful sky, smudged with orange and pink, was now a dark sky. Only a few stars twinkled in the sky, she slowly sat up and looked through the darkness, patting at the ground searching for her phone.

Two New Messages.

Father

Where are you???

8:30

Father

I expect you home in 2 mins.

8:40

Looking at the time, Chloe quickly stood up, pushing aside the flowers and grass. Grabbing her backpack and running home. She made it into the door a minute late, her shoulders were tense as she quietly entered. Her footsteps quite as she...

Chapter 2°
I Will Stab You With My Earbuds°

"I don't need you! So just go away!" It seemed to echo in his mind as he ran away, but he heard her voice calling out to him, "Logan... Logan!"

"Logan! Wake up!" He jolted awake to a large hand shaking his shoulder.

"What the heck." He said startled, as he wiped away the drool from his mouth and turned to see Markus, his friend that he had bonded with for a love of videogames. Mark sat down in the seat next to him in the library, his long legs seemed to be squished in the relatively small seats.

"Is this how you spend your lunch? Alone in the library, sleeping?" He teased and glanced at the open textbook in front of Logan.

"It's better than hanging out with you." Logan said in a very low and unamused monotone voice. Mark slapped his right hand over his chest and threw his head back.

"Ow! I'm wounded!" He shouted which caused them to get multiple shushes from those around.

Chapter 2°
All Too Well°

The sky seemed bluer the next day, brighter even. Everything was brighter to Logan as he walked his bike up the hill to Chloe's house. He hummed softly, his face heating up as he thought of last night, holding Chloe in his arms until she was almost asleep. He rode them back on her bike since most of it was downhill, it was much quicker. After he had made sure Chloe had gotten back inside without a problem and placing her bike back in the shed, he left to retrieve his bike and crashed on his bed as soon as he got into his room. He hummed the soft tune that Chloe sung, it was stuck in his head. She had accepted his promise, everything seemed perfect... But all good things had to come to an end.

He saw Chloe, which made his heart sore with excitement, but she was carrying a box to a large moving van. His heart sank back down as he watched her struggle to place the box in the van, once she did, she ran her arm across her forehead, wiping off the sweat.

Prologue°

Tap. Taptaptap

He kept throwing small pebbles at the clear window until the pastel pink curtain was pulled to the side to reveal a confused looking thirteen year old girl. Her long brown hair was messy as she rubbed her dark brown eyes and pulled on the strap of her overalls. Looking down, she smiled a toothy grin and opened up her window to look down at the fourteen year old Logan. He had his school bag hanging from one shoulder, but it looked fairly empty due to the fact it was summer time.

"You know I'm supposed to be sleeping right now," she says quietly down at him. Logan smiled a little, "And what's with the bag?!"

"We both know you don't want to. And the bag is for something I wanna show you when it gets dark." He says quietly back up to her. The sun was just on the brink of setting.

"I don't know, Lo Lo," She says nervously, looking behind her for a moment before looking back down to him, "Is it totally worth it?" He smiles and nods at her.

I stared into the mirror, internally groaning and cursing myself out. I really hated how I looked and right now was not helping in the slightest.

You see, I have dark brown hair, which tends to look really greasy easily. And me being the idiot I am, I fell asleep watching Netflix last night and forgot to wash my hair.

So here I was, glaring at myself in the mirror, trying to figure out what to do with this mess.

I sighed to myself, tugging my hoodie down over my leggings. I finally decided to just pull my hair up in a messy bun and blend in with the crowd as much as I possibly could. I walked over to my closet and picked up my backpack, staring at the picture of my mother.

My mom, Myta Herron, died giving birth to my younger brother Zach, which was when I was only three years old. Meaning I had very few memories of me and my mother, but I felt extremely bad for my little brother who never got the chance to meet my darling mother.

One day, John took his dog, Thunder, to the park. While there, a beautiful woman about his age caught his attention. He said to himself, "She'll never notice me." The ghost of Amelia appeared to him and said, "She won't notice you if you don't talk to her. Go talk to her, John." John started walking up to the beautiful woman. He then tripped and fell. Thunder ran to the woman. As John struggled to get up, he watched his dog get the woman's attention. She said, "Hi, boy! Are you lost?" He barked and urged her to follow him. He led her to John. He was still struggling to get up. The woman asked him, "Are you okay?" He said, "I think so." She said, "Let me help you." She helped him to his feet. He said, "Thanks." He began to limp. She said, "You're hurt." He said, "I'm all ri..ow!" She said, "Sit on this bench." He sat on the bench. She asked him, "Where does it hurt?" He said, "My left knee." She looked at it and said, "It's bleeding. I'll just clean the wound and patch it up." She got out her first aid kit, cleaned his wound, and patched it up. He asked, "Are you a nurse or a medic?" She said, "I thought about being a nurse, but I'm an artist at heart." He asked, "What's your name?"...

I've seen it commonly argued that Azula is a sadist and a killer and I disagree whole-heartedly for various reasons. For one thing, she is still a child, a child from an abusive and dysfunctional home at that. For seconds, I've always felt as though she has really done nothing different than any other character at the end of the day. I also believe that redemption is very possible for Azula. I wanted to elaborate on this by pulling things from old debates and articles I've written, just to throw my opinions into a more organized format instead of having to re-type the same points every time the discourse is brought up.

I'd like to first address the argument that she was born
evil. This is a very common one I've noticed in the fandom and I disagree so very heavily. She was raised evil, not born evil. Let's be honest; the only parent who paid attention to her was Ozai. And she didn’t have Iroh like Zuko did. Honestly I think that the whole point of them being siblings was to show how it could have turned out either way; Azula was the youngest child she could have easily been the ‘failure’ child. If she had her mother and Iroh and Zuko had Ozai the...

Man, I am just pumping these articles out today. Must be that sweatshop ambition. I don’t have a lot of arcade games that I am super fond of. Not that I hate them or anything, it’s just that most of my experiences in arcades were playing the original Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter II and Third Strike, and Tekken 3. So yeah, most of them were just fighting games. Those joysticks just work so well with fighting games. But one arcade game that caught my interest was one game by Sega, known as Crazy Taxi.
Okay, first off, I never actually got the chance to play Crazy Taxi in arcades. I just had the inferior version on 360. And it’s a fun version, but there’s no Offspring or Bad Religion, so it’s inferior. Okay, but seriously, Crazy Taxi is a ton of fun. The game is very simple. You gotta drive around clients to their location, usually a Pizza Hut or a KFC, the food of America, and get them their fast. The faster you move, the more time you’ll get. Continue doing this until you run of of time and try to rack up the high score. It is a very simple game, but it works so well and it’s a ron of fun. You have all these skills you can learn...

When I was a kid, I never watched a whole lot of Nickelodeon. I was more of a Cartoon Network kid, honestly. But from time to time, I would always switch the channel to watch Spongebob Squarepants, a classic from mine and a lot of kids childhoods (Up until season 4, but we try not to talk about that). The show was popular enough to get a few video games based on it, and I heard they were pretty good. And being the child I was, I was able to get one of these games, and I was told it’s the best one. And it was. Introducing one of the few licensed games on this list is Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom.
The game plays like a typical episode of Spongebob, if a little on the uglier side, with Spongebob getting involved in saving Bikini Bottom from robots created by Plankton. It’s a very simple plot, but an effective one for the show. The world of Spongebob was always a classic one to me, and this game has tons of variety. There is no shortage of fan service with this game, as you can explore everywhere, from Spongebob’s house to the Krusty Krab, and levels such as Jellyfish Fields, Goo Lagoon, Rock Bottom, and my favorite, the...

So I talked about this game back in my Corner of Horror review (A series I need to get back to since I haven’t review anything since Halloween), and I think I was a little too harsh on this game. So I want to give it another review, another shot, if you will, and let you know that I really do love this horror classic. So let’s stop talking about it and start talking about Condemned: Criminal Origins.
You play as one Ethan Thomas, a not to bright young investigator for the SCU who is tracking down a serial killer when he has a run in with Serial Killer X, a man who goes around murdering other serial killers in the same fashion they kill their victims. After Serial Killer X murders two police officers, Ethan is framed for murder and must now hunt down Serial Killer X in the violence ridden city to prove his innocence… Wait, why does this sound familiar? Anyway, the game is all taken place in a first person perspective, doing the whole generic perspective of modern horror games years before. But thankfully, this game has some good qualities to it. To solve puzzles in this game, you have a device that can zoom in on bodies to look for...

Well, if I had any credibility left after the Call of Duty entry, now is the time to lose it completely and be seen as a hack piece of shit in the gaming world. So, without further ado, let me just say that I like Fable. Yes, that Peter Molyneux game that was built on lies and betrayals. And I also like Fable II. But not Fable III. No one likes that one.
So, first off, do I like Peter Molyneux as a game developer? Hell no. I think he is a huge liar and that whole Godus thing is the seediest shit ever. But, I still do enjoy Fable II as its own thing simply for the fact that it was one of the first action RPGs I ever played. That’s… probably sad to some people, but it was a fun time for me. Playing as a young hero, you explore the very English world of Albion as you find other heroes to help you in your cause to defeat the villain Lucien. The game teaches you three skill sets, melee, with swords and axes, skill, with pistols and rifles, and wisdom, which teaches you a ton of busted magic skills. The world has a ton of little towns with an assortment of villagers, from major cities to small farm villages. But one of the mechanics of this...

Hi, everyone! Lenny here, and a lot of you asked me to do the furry friend questionnaire in memory of Theo, so here it goes.

1. What was your pet's name? My pet's name was Theo.

2. What kind of pet was it and what breed? Theo was a dog, and he was an English Setter.

3. How long did you have your pet? I had Theo for five years.

4. How did you get your pet? I got Theo from a breeder. I had an English Setter in mind. I decided to get him after I lost my first dog, Lucky.

5. How old was your pet? Theo was five years old.

6. What were some quirky things about your pet's personality? Theo was not the most affectionate of dogs. It's not that he wasn't affectionate, but he just preferred to do his own thing. Another thing about Theo is even though he was fed on a regular basis, he acted like he had never been fed, and he would inhale his food. Unfortunately, that would lead to his downfall.

7. What does your relationship with your pet mean to you? Theo was a fun-loving companion. He was a lot of fun, and I miss him.

"THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" (2012) Review

After a period of seven years, Christopher Nolan's three-movie saga about the D.C. Comics character, Batman, finally came to an end. The saga that began with 2005's "BATMAN BEGINS", ended with 2012's "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES".

This third film, set seven years after 2008's "THE DARK KNIGHT", began with the aerial kidnapping of a nuclear scientist by an escaped terrorist named Bane. The scene shifted to Gotham City, where a fund-raiser was being held at Wayne Manor. The only person missing was millionaire Bruce Wayne, who had given up his vigilante activities as Batman after claiming he had murdered former District Attorney Harvey Dent. During the fundraiser, Bruce caught a maid breaking into his private safe. She turned out to be a resourceful cat burglar named Selina Kyle. Aside from a necklace that once belonged to Bruce's late mother, Selina did not steal any other object from the safe.
