The first thing that makes the franchise confusing is that there are two very different versions of Superman 2. Superman 2 was originally directed by Richard Donner and had Marlon Brando reprising his role as Jor-El. However, Richard Donner was fired from the production of the 2nd film. Also, Marlon Brando's scenes were cut out of the film. Richard Lester was hired as the new director. The version of Superman 2 that went to theaters was made mostly out of scenes directed by Richard Lester. Instead of Jor-El being in the film, Superman's mother, Lara, was given the role that Jor-El was supposed to have. Over twenty years later, Richard Donner's version of Superman 2 was finally released. This scene restored a bunch of previously unseen scenes that were directed by Richard Donner. When people think about Christopher Reeve's first two Superman films, they tend to think of them with fondness and love. However, the 3rd and 4th films got a much different response. "Let's go swimming today," Una said as they sat down. "I can't wait to see the beach!"
"It looks a bit cloudy," Everett pointed out, glancing uneasily at the sky. "Maybe we should plan an indoor activity for today. We could probably reach a shopping centre before the rain hits."
"It's cloudy now," Una agreed. "But I'm sure it'll pass by the time we're finished eating. I did want to go swimming our first day!"

Blue's Big City Adventure is a 2022 film that's part of the Blue's Clues franchise. The film has the same cast and crew of the new Blue's Clues show that's called Blue's Clues & You!.

In Blue's Big City Adventure, Blue's human companion, Josh, is planning on auditioning for a Broadway musical that stars Rainbow Puppy. Josh and Blue go to New York and try to find the theater that the auditions are taking place at. However, Josh forgot his notebook, so he doesn't know where the theater is. He and Blue try their best to find the theater, while inspiring the citizens of New York to sing and dance. Meanwhile, Mr. Salt wants to find Josh and give him his notebook, so he goes to an old friend for help.

Blue's Clues is a franchise that has benefited from being a fun hunt for clues. The film continues the trend of being a fun adventure. Since the film is longer than an episode, the stakes are higher, and the adventure is grander. Despite that, the film never loses sight of the simplistic, easygoing and pleasantness that made the Blue's Clues franchise such a delight.

Donovan Patton played Joe, the second star of the original Blue's Clues series. Joe was introduced towards the end of the fourth season before becoming the host of the series. He served as the host of the fifth and sixth seasons of the series. As the original series was ending, a spin-off series called Blue's Room was being made. It was a puppet show where Blue could talk. Joe appeared as a guest in an episode of the first season of Blue's Room before becoming a part of the main cast in the second season. Although Donovan Patton is no longer the host of Blue's Clues, he is involved in making the Blue's Clues & You! reboot series. Also, he has guest-starred in various episodes as Joe. In the reboot series, Joe works at the Present Store.

I'll be ranking Joe's appearances in Blue's Clues & You! from least favorite to favorite. Like with my ranking of Steve's appearances, I'll be ranking the episodes based off of Joe's role in the episodes.

9. Mailtime Mystery

Steven Burns played Steve, the original star of the original Blue's Clues series. After starring in four seasons and one movie, Steven passed the role of host down to Donovan Patton's Joe because he wanted to focus on other things. For a while, it seemed like he wouldn't come back to the Blue's Clues franchise. However, out of respect to the original crew and his loyal fans, Steven came back for the Blue's Clues reboot that's called Blue's Clues & You!. While Steve is no longer the host, he is involved in the making of the reboot. He helped cast the newest host, Josh Dela Cruz, and has directed and written various episodes of the reboot. Also, he's made some guest appearances in the show.

I'll be ranking Steve's guest appearances in Blue's Clues & You! from least favorite to favorite. Something to note is that I'll be ranking the episodes by Steve's role in the episodes. Another thing to note is that even though some of the guest appearances are better than others, I'm a fan of all of them.

Blue's Clues was a very popular show in the 1990s. It lasted for six seasons and ended in the early 2000s. However, that was not the end of Blue's adventures. Since then, there have been two other Blue's Clues shows. The focus of this review is the newest Blue's Clues show. Blue's Clues & You is a show that started in 2019.

For those that don't know, the original Blue's Clues was about a dog named Blue that left clues for her owner, Steve, to find. In the show, Steve would talk to the audience and ask for their help with finding clues. Steve eventually left to go to college, so his brother, Joe, became the new host. Steve and Joe were live-action hosts, while Blue and most of the other characters were animated.

The new show, Blue's Clues & You, continues the trend of Blue leaving clues to find. This time around, the host is Steve and Joe's cousin, Josh. The new show uses a more modern style of animation for Blue and the other animated characters. Aside from a new host and a new type of animation, Blue's Clues & You is nearly identical to the old show.

Despite OUAT being intended as a family-friendly TV series, it contains a lot of story-lines and pairings which involve a lack of consent or dubious consent. Most of these are not recognised or acknowledged within the story. These are the ones I've identified:

During the flashbacks in The Heart Is A Heavy Hunter, Regina ripped out the Huntsman's heart, squeezed it to display the effect this would have and threatened to crush it if he ever disobeyed her. She then kissed him against his will and ordered him taken to her bedchamber. The clear implication here is that she raped him. The writers later may have tried to retcon this, but implication is that she did order him to have sex with her and there was no scene in the episode or the series itself revealing that this did not take place. The writers' comments are also unclear whether they're only denying that Regina whispered instructions into the heart, an aspect of heart used only revealed later in season 2. Threatening to crush his heart if he refused her, or even just his belief that she would do so, would make any consent he gave invalid.

Batgirl almost had a film come out, but before the finishing touches could be put on the film, it was cancelled. Instead of getting a theatrical release, DVD release or streaming release, the film wasn't released to the public in any format. I was and still am very upset about the film's cancellation, because I had been looking forward to the film. In fact, it was one of my most anticipated superhero films.

It was going to be Batgirl's first film.

While Batgirl did appear in 1997's Batman and Robin and several animated films, this film was going to be her first time in the spotlight. Barbara Gordon's Batgirl is supposed to be one of the most prominent heroes in the Batman franchise, so throwing away her first film is a big disservice for the character's reputation.

There aren't enough female superhero films.

There are more female-led superhero films coming out than they're used to be, but it's still somewhat uncommon to have a woman be the lead in a superhero film. DC, in particular, hasn't had very many female-led superhero films, so throwing away a film starring one of DC's most important female characters was a huge mistake.

Joel Schumacher directed 1995's Batman Forever and 1997's Batman and Robin. There were plans to have him direct a third Batman film. The film was expected to have a 1999 release, but it ended up not getting made. However, a lot of thought went into ideas for the film.

Joel Schumacher's Batman films are considered to be sequels to Tim Burton's Batman despite having a different director and different actors playing Batman. Joel Schumacher was brought on after the studio feared that Tim Burton's version of Batman was becoming too scary to market towards kids. Joel Schumacher was asked by the studio to make Batman lighter and more family-friendly, so the tone of the films changed. Michael Keaton was not happy about the new direction, so he left, but both Michael Gough (Alfred Pennyworth) and Pat Hingle (Commissioner Gordon) stayed. Val Kilmer starred as Batman in Batman Forever, but he left and was replaced with George Clooney for Batman and Robin.
