Do you prefer Hitchcock's movies in black & white or in color?

His color movies are his best.

It dephines his movies. I think that one color became the new thing he should of kept with black & white. But also his color movies have a strange inoscence about them that freakes me out.

But it doesn't matter really as long as the movie is good.

if i ever see a colourised version of the 39 steps or lady vanishes like they did with suspicion, that,s when we ought to worry.

I'd say the quality of the film doesn't make a difference in color or B&W, but I somehow am more afraid when theres no color...?

Done correctly, they can create more of an eerie feel with the lighting and shadows in the black and whites... create more of an unknown or sinister quality as it were.

My favorite ones, with the exception of Rebecca, are in color.

His black and white films have all those brilliant shadows and cinematography which are lacking in his colors (though those are also fantastic, of course).
