Does anyone know anything about Paula Abdul quitting?

I read on yahoo how she was quitting because of a contract deal... The reason I heard on Tv was she was only going to get 5 millon dollars and Kara DioGuardi would get 12 millon but im not sure if its true. Plz say if you know more?
