Playing hunky stable boy Ty on CBC’s horsy drama Heartland has added a new element to Graham Wardle’s career — fan mail. And it’s not just the usual preteen girls crushing on the young actor.

“It’s pretty wide-ranging,” says Wardle, 23, in a break from filming the ranch-based series in Alberta.

“I get emails from fans in their 20s. The ones in their 40s send large envelops so you can send them back photos. And the six-year-olds like to draw pictures and make bracelets for you. It’s definitely a new part of my life.”
