Ok this was posted over on the BB forum and I thought it was too cute. So I figured why not try it out here cause I know everyone has one and it will deffintly bring other new fans into seeing what to look forward too. :P I also posted this on the Spuffy thread. :)
So here's the topic, everyone could give their opinion about Cangel. Basically what they're favorite moment or moments are.
Mine I have mainly one. :) I love Cangel and everything about them but one scene just beats them all for me. And that's the ending to the episode Birthday.
Cordelia had her memory wiped, and yet she still knew something was missing, as if her heart never forgot. She went to Angel, saw how helpless he was and even though she didn't remember anything they've been through she still wanted nothing more than to help take the pain away and she kissed him. I think that was the most romantic scene ever!
mel you and i have the same favorite moment! of course maybe i don't count cuz i'm still in the middle of season 4 and i'm watching it for the first time, but that's my favorite so far :) last night i watched "awakening" and i was screaming at the top of my lungs at the TV! if it wasn't all fake, my fave moment would be after he saves her from the fire, but it is so yeah. right now i hate joss so much i just want them to be TOGETHER!!!
I know what you mean spikes_girl. I too was fooled by that episode, we all were. Sadly it wasn't true, oh but what a story it would of been if it were true. :)
You're welcome is such a touching episode. :( it makes me cry everytime I see it aswell... it was #1 favorite episode out of season 5. Mostly because it had almost everybody. the original team. Angel, Cordelia, the video of Doyle :), Wesley, Gunn, Fred, Lorne and even Spike and Harmony who knew Cordelia in Sunnydale aswell. :D Plus the main nemesis of Angel from the beginning of the series, Lindsay. :D It was the perfect episode... and the ending :'( I still shed tears.
I don't like reading my comments from a long time ago. Especially when I didn't always take the time to spell everything right and capitalize what needs to be capitalized. *sighs* I really was so young and foolish. :P
Let's see... I have to switch my answer again- well, more add an answer. I have three favorites.
#1 5x12 - You're Welcome. Pretty much every scene they have together, the one where she's watching Doyle's video, and the conversation they have after she turns it off. But especially, the ending scene, where Angel tells Cordelia that he feels like he can do this, and she says she knows, and she tells him she has to leave... and, one of my favorite TV kisses!
"Oh, and you're welcome!"
*quietly, tearfully* "Thank you."
*sobs*
#2 3x12 - Provider. Ending scene of Provider is simply adorable. Connor sucking away at his bottle in between them as they mumble a rather pointless conversation to each other as they fall asleep. There really is no other word for it, it's just adorable. Small, and short, but I love the image of them there, as if they were a family. *tear* It's perfect.
#3 3x11 - Birthday. And, just an episode before, is my third favorite moment. I think just by the episode, you all can easily guess what the scene is... Cordy kissing Angel and taking back the visions, even though then, she and Angel hadn't known each other very well. *more tears, and a good deal of fangirl squealing*
Cangel... oh how I miss them. Though of course, I have my story line of how Cordelia comes back to life and she and Angel live happily ever after...
