Isn`t it time for a banner/icon change?

I guess I'm fine with a change, but I also like what we have now(mainly the icon). My only worry when changing icons and banners is half the time spots end up with pretty poorly done fanmade ones that don't look as good as what they replace. If we did change I'd prefer it if we found someone who was actually good at making banners, not just a load of photos of her cobbled together, and for the icon I'd rather we just had a nice pretty pic of her (in the style of the current one) and not a fanmade icon, because they don't often look good as spot icons.

Of course, I could just be paranoid because a fairly popular spot I'm in just changed their icon from one that was ok to one that's ugly. Someone did a pick asking if people like the new icon and hardly anyone picked yes. It's one of those fan icons and to be honest it looks like something someone did when they were bored on their first attempt at photoshop, so maybe that's made me a little wary of new icons and banners.

Er, I realised I've been rambling on. Basically, I'm fine with a change, but only if we find a well done banner and just a nice pic of her for the icon.

I totally agree.
But..if the banner IS actually fan made and has some kind of coloring on it...i`d suggest that the icon would fit the coloring of the banner in some way.
