If the snake was my pet I know that snakes got to live and that he would be my responsibility. So I would ask a vet or an animal scientist what to feed him. I know that it would be hard to see the snake eat live food because I really love animals too. (I want to be a vet when I'm older.) But the would have to get food somewhere and he would be my responsibility. So i would feed him some alive but I would probably feed him something more like mice.

i have care about snake. honestly i have snake in my home, i adopt from my aunt. a lot people is afraid of snake, but thats not means they not care about them. have a snake is hard, we need to feed it with a mice everyday, now, how bout' the mice? rats, pigs and a lot more? they more nice than a snake. and yes, people is cruel, they kill a snake for make a silly acsesories. dont buy it! so u care of a snake or even the other animals

A science teacher at my school has a snake and she breeds gerbils right in the classroom for it to eat. One year we had student council in that classroom, and at first I was really freaked out because there was a big sign on their cage that said 'DO NOT GET ATTACHED TO US. WE ARE FOOD.', but after a while you think, hey, there's a lot of animals that like their prey live. For example, a certain type of bear that lives near me will only use live animals for food. My mother taught me very young that if I ever encountered it, just to lie still and pretend to be dead, and it wouldn't attack. That may sound obvious, but there's another kind of bear that will eat you whether you're alive or dead. There are just some animals that need live prey. Life is harsh. Learn to deal.

if i had a snake, id grab a couple mice, put them in the tank, then run out of the room and slam the door.

i agree with you yes its harsh but its life i mean we eat animals to no they are not alive but like you said some animals have to eat live animals to survive so yes its harsh and cruel but its life snakes are animals too sure people don't think they are as cute as some others but they are still animals and derseve and need our respect and understanding as well as our love

Snakes are emotionless cold animals and really are no benefit to people as pets. I can tell you that the mice and rats I have are way more loving than a snake will ever be. But don't get this wrong. I don't wish all the snakes to die just because of their diet. I just do not think they make ideal pets, and if you had to choose between the rat and the snake, go with the rat.

i`m kinda scared of snake but that doesent mean i want them all dead cuz i love animals like onetime i saw this bird that a person abandoned and it waz hurt so i helped it till it could fly and set it free.so yeah snakes desrve love and life to.just not by me cuz of my phobia:)
