A few weeks ago at my workplace I was approached by a very visible, though homeless, religious man. He asked me if I were religious in which I replied with a nonchalant "No."
From there it seemed as if all hell was breaking loose. He started badgering me and saying that because I was baptized as a small child I'm ultimately "damned to Hell" for my "families mistakes".
Perhaps I should have just upped and walked away.. but for one, I was never in this particular situation, and since he was a paying customer, I sort of felt compelled to put up with his bullshit because I didn't want him to cause a scene or lose my job. I had no idea what to do. Needless to say, I was VERY uncomfortable in my workplace.
At one point the man whipped out his trusty Bible and read to me the passage stating something about the fact that I was baptized before the "age in which I would actually understand the concept of Jesus and God," my family undoubtedly voided the "name of God" and I'm "damned". I therefore told the man that at the simple age of 3 I vaguely understood the concept that "Jesus was good and died for me" and that "God is awesome". Even though my views...

So today me and my friends went to a friend´s house and as soon as I enter there was a bible to the left a cross in front of me etc. This is a normal thing in a home in Mexico so I didnt pay that much attention to it. Ok than, so we went to the garden and there was a small statue of virgin marie. I thought that was too much but I said nothing. So when we were leaving I saw this picture of Jesus Christ in the exit and it said "Jesus te ama" (Jesus loves you) The picture was kind of funny and I forgot about everything and I just said Jesus loves you?? hahaha

and I was like: nothing man
and another of my friends said: so you´re really an atheist huh? (he already knew)
and I told him that of course he already knew why was he asking again. But than the first guy said: But why are you an atheist? so I told him I think the idea of god is pure fantasy. When I said this his eyes got all big and he stared at me and said nothing

You might think what does your dream have to do with atheism. And my answer is I hava no idea but I thought this would be the best spot to put it.
So I was in my classroom back in LA with my catholic teacher (the school wasn´t catholic but the teacher was)and my classmates. That day my teacher had brought some guest speakers. It was a bishop and some priests. So they were telling us how we should believe in God and how if we didn´t we will all go to hell you know the whole story they always say. So anyway I raised my hand and I said I didnt agree with that you know priests in a public school and also in what he was saying so the bishop got all mad and started cursing me like you demon God damn all your family and stuff like that and he started persecuting me I was so scared. So I ran and ran and got to this construction and hid there. Next thing I know the bishop was there with like a gun or something to kill me with I cant remember though. Then, he saw me, my heart started bumping like crazy, and than out of the sudden he falls down the stairs and dies. But finally when I got out to this unfinished balcony in the construction he was in a helicopter and...
