Anyone else hate the ending?

It was just TOO sad.
Why the hell both of them had to die? Ughh.

i was literally traumatised !!!

I loved the pointlessness for some reason.
It was very poignant. Plus if they'd lived happily ever after, I'm sure they would have eventually forgiven Briony for what she did.

I loved the ending. It just showed the harsh contrast between Briony's fantasy world and reality - something she finally has to face up to. It adds to it's poignancy.

It is sad of course but I'm not that person who hates the end of movie only because it's sad..
It's life and nothing can't be done..
Besides such end - very-very sad and soulful - can teach people, and it makes them meditate on serious things..
