"Katara?" Aang asked.
"Yes, Aang?" she asked sweetly, smiling at the boy she loved so much. If only he knew that...
Aang could have sworn he felt his heart melt. "I...I have something to say to you...a-and if you don't think the same way...can we still be friends?" he asked.
"Of course, but...what is it?" Katara asked.
Aang gulped. Oh, Spirits, why does this have to be so hard? he thought. "I...I really, really like you," he said. "Well, the truth is...I-I love you, Katara. Will...will you be my girlfriend?"
Katara felt tears spring up into her eyes. "Oh, Aang!" she breathed. "Of course!"
They shared a passionate kiss.
They pulled apart. "Wow..." Katara said.

Hi, all! This is a sequel to "The Moments Ahead, Part 4: One Stormy Night," but you don't need to read it to understand this story.
Aang and Katara lay on the grass, looking at the stars in the midnight blue sky.
"They're pretty, aren't they?" Katara asked, nuzzling Aang's neck.
He smiled at the girl he loved so much. "They sure are, but I have something even prettier in my arms," he said.
Katara smiled and they shared a deep, passionate kiss.
Aang smiled into the kiss.
The fiery liplocking lasted a full twenty seconds. It was the longest, and by far the most passionate, kiss they had ever shared.
Katara smiled against Aang's lips, and as soon as they pulled away, she said, "I love you..."
"I love you, too, Katara," Aang said, smiling at her.
The stars remained in the sky, forgotten.

So, I just started watching Avatar, as in this very minute I'm on Book one, episode 12! lol But I'm loving it! I've seen a couple of random episodes in the middle, found it interested, and decided to watch the whole thing from start to finish. I know that there are going to be a lot of new characters added with some awesome twists. . .yeah kind of ruined the whole Zuko turning into a good guy thing. . . lol but the show is great!
I'm not sure of what's going to happen over all, and please no one spoil it for me, but I was just wanting to discuss some of the characters.
I love Sokka! He cracks me up! He's probably my favorite character so far :) So far, he's pretty worthless in a fight but that's ok! lol
Aang of course is the bomb and I can't wait to see him seriously kick some Fire Bender butt! I love that he's so care free and more interested in having fun than anything else.
Katara's cool but with no real defining personality to me so far. I like her devotion to Aang though. She's a good friend.
