Today, everything is fast. The internet, the cars, the food, etc. Especially football. The sport has been intensified, quickened, and technologized to the point where watching football seems like watching your computer defragment its drives. That is why we have held on to baseball. Baseball might be slow, but who doesn’t love watching their favorite player steal a base, hit a homer, or score a run?
