I pretty much disagree with this Wired blog post prediting shark jumping for BSG but it's worth a read for the contrarian opinion.

I'm willing to cut BSG a lot of slack before I'll say they've jumped the shark. The middle of season 2 suffered similarly. Though I'll agree with you (at least based on the opinion in your blog) that they really ought to have stayed on New Caprica for most of season 3. That plot line resolved itself WAY to quickly.
