Do You Live By A Beach??

My life's dream to to live by one, but it has not come true yet!

Define 'by.'

I am about 30 minutes away from several beaches on the Oresund. It isn't like when I lived on the Barrier Island in Lauderdale though, where I was only half a block away from a gorgeous strand. I miss that.

I say 30 minutes counts. I, however, am 12 hours from Destin, FL and would do anything to be a 1/2 hour away.

im from San Francisco, but the beach there is pretty crappy, though i go to school in san luis obispo (CA), so im right near 2 nice beaches!!

Yes, I live in a small town with a nice white beach...

I am thinking of maybe buying a place in the Dominican Republic. I think Lori will like that better.

5 minutes away and I totally flaunt that fact. I go almost every day!

Ahhh and can youbelieve that after 2 years here, I just discovered there is a beach 10 minutes away from me in Landskrona? Man am I dumb!

i live like 5-10 minute drive...i can sorta see the beach from my house (big houses are being built in front now though) but yeah short trip to heaps of beaches since i live near the coast

i really don't think an hour away from a beach is living by one in the slightest way, lol

That's the good thing about living in Denmark. Here is beaches everywhere, and there is only 2 hours driving from coast to coast. And like storn said, many of the beaches are white. So...that's nice.

Well, not 3 months, more like 4-8 weeks depends on work, and my actingjobs and that but most sumers its 5/6 weeks..

I was just in Denmark and omg the beaches there are all over the coast line. I am in sweden now and came from the usa so it is all like heaven here. I never saw such clean waters and lands with such freedom and peace. I love it out here so much.
Got to admit there aholic your sand is amazing out there. I did some photos and videos while in Copenhagen yet most of my time was spent just swimming and hanging out on the beach.

i live in florida and am surrounded by beaches it takes about an hour maybe a little more to get to like 3 different beaches. i love the beach we don't go very often though but occasionly we do mainly because only my mom and me like the beach but still i'd say i live pretty close to the beach

Sometimes for the summer i go to panama beach to chill out.
